minju trudged her way to the bus stop dreading the thought of going to school and seeing all the ugly faces of her teachers. while in deep thought, minju felt a hand hit her back. she yelped. "HARUTO what the fuck can you not it's literally 7 in the morning." she said, fuming. "alright miss cranky pants. what's put you in a bad mood this time?" he asked laughed slightly. minju sighed recalling last weekend. the kiss. she shook her head not wanting to answer his question. as if the universe had listened to her, yeonwoo came along basically charging towards the bus stop. "DID I MISS THE BUS AGAIN? I SWEAR IT WASN'T MY FAULT MY ASS OF A CHIHUAHUA WOULDN'T STOP YAPPING UNTIL I GAVE IT FOOD!" haruto and minju glanced at eachother before breaking out into laughter. this is why minju has a cat instead.

haruto and minju conversed amongst eachother for a bit while yeonwoo's mum screamed at her from the other side of the phone because she didn't wash the dishes the night before. this was nice, she didn't have much time to talk to haruto one to one most of the time due to training schedules and only being in a few of his classes. they could finally catch up.

yeonwoo finally put down the phone sighing. "i forgot to wash the dishes-" she said looking at the pair. in sync they replied "we heard." the bus then arrived and they all got on, obviously haruto pushing minju out of the way so he could get on first. it was a tradition and yet minju never was able to push him back. they all sat near the back of the bus, huddled together as minju showcased her newest stray kids album. she absolutely loved stray kids, she had never seen a group which spoke to her more. don't even get her started on the members.

a bus stop or two later, a familiar face walked on the bus. minju being a bit blind, she squinted her eyes realising it was yedam. haruto waved his hand in the air as to call him over to sit with them. they all said their hello's and it went quiet until yedam noticed the stray kids album in minju's hands. "oh is that stray kids?" he asked, smiling at her. "yes it is! they're one of my favourite groups" she said getting a bit excited as he noticed. "yeah i like them too, i'm friends with them actually." he said as if it was a casual thing. minju's jaw dropped, leaving her speechless. haruto noticed minju's surprised state and decided to speak up. "you really shouldn't have said that, now she won't ever stop bugging you." he said laughing at minju. she looked at him pretending to be extremely shocked. "i will NOT! so erm could you maybe introduce me to them.. y'know because we're besties and that's what besties do right?" she said grinning.

they continued talking until the bus arrived at their school. they got off the bus together and walked into their school. yedam parted ways before arriving in front of their home room because he had to practice something with someone..? she wasn't listening, she was concentrated on the fact that she got a hyunjin photocard.

they walked into their classroom and sat at their seats. minju showed jeongwoo and mashiho the photocards she got knowing they was the ones that ACTUALLY cared seeing as they were stans of stray kids as well. by the time she had explained everything in the album, yedam had returned to the classroom and had sat down next to her.

miss song arrived in their homeroom and clapped her hands together to get everyone's attention. "alright class, the department of our year has decided that we will be taking a trip to jeju island!" the class erupted in cheers knowing jeju was a gorgeous place. miss song shushed the class and picked up her speech from where she was cut off. "we will be visiting jeju island for a week for a trip packed full of challenges! we will be learning how to camp and hike as well, how exciting! now the trip is two weeks from now so get these confirmation slips signed and bring these back to me ASAP!" she said handing the slips over to the class president.

this is exactly what minju needed, a trip to get away from all the stress training had been giving her.
