it was finally the weekend. minju was laying on her bed per usual. the silence was interrupted by a sudden phone call from yeonwoo.

she answered with a half asleep "hello?"

"oI YOU LAZY BUM LETS HANG OUT I WANNA GET ICE CREAM" yeonwoo screamed into the phone. minju sighed contemplating whether to scavenge for new friends.

"okay okay- i'll meet you outside the ice cream parlour just dONT shout-" she said ending the call and getting up to get changed. after she succeeded in feeling cute she went downstairs to get her keys and head out.

"where do you think you're going?" byounggon, her older stepbrother said which startled her. her mother had remarried once they moved to korea and it just so happened that her stepdad's son was also in yg entertainment. they got along very well, he'd sometimes bring round the other trainees to make music and hang out so, she always had company.

"i'm going out with yeonwoo, we're hanging out like usual." she expected byounggon to already know what she was going to say.

"good, don't hang out with boys other than haru and jeongwoo. —oh and also treasure a is coming round today, we have a new addition to the group." minju nodded as if to say okay. she left the house after saying goodbye to him and her cat. their parents were almost always working so they were very rarely at home.

she finally arrived at the ice cream parlour and sat down at one of the seat cubicles. she scrolled through her instagram to see a specific account had followed her. she pressed on the notification to se that it was yedam. her eyes lit up and she smiled. he was quite cute outside of school too.

"my minju has grown up" she felt someone put a hand on her shoulder and a slight sniffling coming from behind her. she immediately knew who it was and turned off her phone.

"what took you so long-?" she managed to stutter out after getting slightly flustered.

"i saw some ducks and attempted to feed them but they tried to steal my hat so i ran" yeonwoo said proudly. minju simply sighed as she expected this, she was concerned for her own well being as before she met yeonwoo, she was fine but after, it was a tendency for minju to randomly break out into song in the middle of the road.

there was an awkward silence before minju blurted out "imagine they sold butt shaped ice cream, would you buy it?"

yeonwoo stared at her for a second and opened her mouth to speak before minju cut her off by saying "if you bought it and ate it, would that mean you're eating ass?" this time, yeonwoo sighed at her random remark.

after a short while of laughing at each others faces, minju offered to go get the ice cream. cotton candy for herself and coffee for yeonwoo. after she paid, she brought the ice creams to the table.

not even saying thank you, yeonwoo asked minju "so do you actually like yedam or do you still like hyunsuk?" minju froze in her tracks. ah, hyunsuk, her first crush of high school. she'd completely forgotten that she liked him as she soon realised he liked her in a brother-sister type way.

"no i don't i jus-" she was cut off by yeonwoo's hand covering her mouth and yeonwoo whisper shouting out

"iSNT THAT THE NEW KID WITH JUNKYU?" minju looked over to where yeonwoo was looking to reveal, yedam standing next to junkyu picking what ice cream to have. they immediately covered their faces but were too late as junkyu had came up to them already.
