One day, I was watching a gladiator fight with my siblings. After the fight, I was approached by a friend of mine. "Hello, Leo. How have you been?" He smiles and says, "Wonderful, I've been wonderful. I have just gotten a letter from a merchant guild saying that a new village has started to grow and they don't have a blacksmith yet. I was wondering if you would bring me to the village?" This is Leo. He is a muscular, young man with black hair and eyes the color of molten iron. On top of being one of my best friends and personal blacksmith, he is also my cousin. His father is Hephaestus, the god of blacksmithing and metallurgy. As you can imagine he is one of the best blacksmiths I've ever seen, second only to his father. I think for a minute and say, "This village, why do you need me to bring you?" "It's about a week away by sea and you are the only one I know with a ship that can sail that long without running out of supplies. There aren't any islands between here and there, so there isn't anyone in Greece with a ship that can take me. I got the message through a trade route that travels over land. Also, most people there don't know about the gods. This means that they won't judge you based on your father alone. It could be a chance for you to start fresh." I think for a few seconds and say, "Okay, I will bring you to the village. Have your things on my ship by sunset." He nods and I walk off to catch up with my siblings who had walked ahead to their ship, The Adrestia. After a few minutes of walking and hearing people talk about different arena fighters, I arrived at the Adrestia. I then call out, "Hey Alexios, Kassandra! They walk over to the side and Alexios asks, "What is it, brother?" "I just came to tell you that I am bringing Leo to a village that needs a blacksmith. I'll be gone for a while. Just make sure that mother doesn't worry." He nods, goes back to the helm, and sails home. I decided to go buy a cask of wine and resupply the ship for the voyage. After resupplying the ship, I sat down and drank my cask of wine. After finishing my wine, I helped Leo load his things onto the ship, and at sunset, we set sail. To pass the time, we played dice. After the week passed, at around sunrise, we came across a small dock with a small boat next to it. I pull the boat next to the dock and tie it to the dock. I get off the boat and look for someone to direct us to where we need to set up the forge. I found a guard with a blue cloak and ask, "Hello, my name is Erebus. My friend, Leo came here to set up a blacksmith shop in this village. Where would we need to make it?" He led us to a plaza and told me we could choose a spot nearby. I decided it would be a good idea to set it up just outside the treeline and we get started. As the sun rose into the sky, we finished reconstructing the forge. When I look up I see a small woman around two-and-a-half feet shorter than me. She walks up to us and says, "Hi, my name is Aphmau. It's nice to meet you. I nod my head and say, " Nice to meet you Aphmau. My name is Erebus and this is Leo. Leo here is a blacksmith. When he heard of a new village growing, he couldn't help but come set up shop here. If you have been in that area, you have probably noticed the big ship at the docks. Don't worry, it's just my ship. There is no attack to worry about." She laughed and said, "Yeah, actually. I did notice the big ship at the docks. With something that big, it must need quite a large crew to sail it." "Hahaha, if it was anyone else, you would be right, but with my special abilities all I need is myself." She looks surprised and says, "Wow, really? I would have taken you for a soldier or guard rather than a sailor." "Because of the armor, right? Don't worry, that's because I am. One of my favorite pass times is watching and participating in arena battles." She nods and says that if I plan on staying, I could join the guard. I told her I would think about it and she went to talk to other people. As the sun begins to set, I feel a sense of death near the edge of the village. I check to see who it was and see Aphmau trying to lift a hurt guard. Seeing as she was struggling, I walk up to her and pick up the guard. I then say, "Lead the way and show me where to put him. She lead me to a house and told me to set him down on the bed. I then ask, " What happened?" "He was out looking for a bandit that shot one of our villagers, then he was dropped off on the edge of town injured." "Okay, I may not have any healing magic, but I can delay the reaper from taking his soul and do some first-aid. He will still need healing magic to some degree, but this should postpone his death." I take a dagger and prick my finger. I then draw a small magic circle on the guard. And hand my knife to Aphmau.

"I need you to put the blade in some fire and heat it till it is bright red. Then I need you to bring it to me." She nods and walks out to heat the knife. I then flip him on his stomach and put pressure on the wound. After a few minutes, Aphmau comes back with the hot knife. She hands it to me and I press the knife against the wound and stop the bleeding. I then walk over and say, "Though I have stopped the bleeding for now, it is best to get an actual doctor to look at him." She nods and heads toward the dock, presumably to another town to get a doctor. I then notice that other people have entered the room. I observe them for a few seconds and then wait.
