A/N
This is what I imagine Lexi wearing on the first day of school

My eyelids flutter open when I hear Derek calling my name from downstairs. I groan and turn over in my bed, not wanting to have to get out of the warm cocoon of blankets I am currently wrapped up in. Whoever decided that school should start this early, I hope you are burning in the lowest pits of hell.

My comfort only lasts another 30 seconds before a very grumpy looking Derek comes into my room and takes one look at me before producing a glass of water from behind his back. "You wouldn't dare" I gasp, eyeing the glass apprehensively.

"Why wouldn't I?" He replies with a smirk.

"Because I'm your favourite cousin in the world?"

He smirks, "nice try" and chucks the glass of water at me.

I scream as the cold water makes contact with my face and just for a second I see a look of actual, genuine happiness cross his face.

"Get your ass up, you have to go to school." He grumbles before leaving me in my bed looking like a drowned rat.

"I hate him so much" I mutter under my breath. I hear Derek chuckle from downstairs, "Just because you have werewolf hearing doesn't mean you can eavesdrop!" I yell before finally getting out of my now wet duvet and going towards the bathroom. I have a quick shower and use my new hairdryer to dry my hair before heating up my straighteners to create some gentle waves. I go over to my vanity and pull out some make up. I put on some basic make up as I just can't be bothered to do a crazy make up look.

I brush my teeth and go downstairs where I spot an apple on the table in the kitchen so I grab it and take a bite out of it. I hear a beep outside, signalling that Derek was waiting impatiently for me in his car.

"Took your time" he mutters as I climb into the passenger seat. I just roll my eyes and look out of the window as we drive towards BHHS.

"Remember what I told you yesterday about being a new student" he tells me with a pointed look.

"Yes" I reply matter-of-factly (a/n is that even a word?) I open my hand and start counting his so called rules on my fingers, "Act like you have no idea who anyone is, remember your last name is now Hale not DeLuca, don't talk about alternate universes and don't mention werewolves." He nods his head as we pull up to the school.

"I'm not going to drop you off at the doors because I don't want to show up in case Argent is there."

"Ok fair enough, but you do remember the part where I told you that Allison Argent is also joining the school with me. And Kate is gonna show up."

"I know. When is Kate gonna show up though?"

"You know I can't tell you that without altering what going to happen." I say with a sigh.

"Yeah I know, you'd better get going because you don't want to be late on your first day."

"Ok, thanks for the ride by the way." I say before opening the door and exiting the car. Derek waits for me to shut the door again and then drives off. I turn in the direction of the school and take the two minute walk towards the front doors. I spot Stiles waiting for Scott by the doors, I guess Scott was bitten last night, if Stiles' nervous jittering is anything to go by.

I spot Allison sitting on a bench outside school and start to walk over to her. As I get closer I hear the bell ring in the school, signalling that everyone should now be in class. When I reach her, I hear her tell her mum that she forgot a pen. I smirk internally, knowing that Scott was inside, listening to her with his werewolf hearing. She hangs up the phone and spots me standing not far from her.

"Can I help you?" She asks, raising an eyebrow.

"I'm just waiting for the principal because I'm new here."

"Really! Same, at least I won't be the only new girl this year."

I smile at her as I spot the principal walking towards us.

"Hello, my name is Principal Thomas (a/n I know that was the name of the principal in s2 and s3 but i don't know the name of the principal in s1) are you Allison Argent and Alexandria Hale?"

"Yes" we reply in unison.

"Ok well this is your first lesson so I'll show you there, and here are your timetables."

"So where are you both from?"

"Well I'm from England, but my father recently passed away so I came to live with my relatives here." I reply.

"Oh I'm sorry to hear about your father, how about you Allison?" He asks, sensing my discomfort and changing the subject. "Weren't you saying San Francisco isn't where you grew up?"

"No but we lived there for more than a year which is unusual for my family."

I raise an eyebrow at her remark but decide against questioning it further.

"Well hopefully Beacon Hills will be your last stop for a while." The principal says with a smile as we reach the classroom door.

"Class, these are our new students, Allison Argent and Alexandria DeLuca. Please do your best to make them feel welcome." The principal leaves. Allison and I share an uneasy glance and make our way to the back of the class where there are two empty seats. I notice a dark haired boy with a crooked jawline, the one and only adorable puppy that is Scott McCall, keep his glance on Allison with a love struck expression on his face. A smirk graces my lips as I hurry in front of her and take the seat next to the boy with a buzz cut, MAYDAY MAYDAY SOS STILES FUCKING STILINSKI AHHH, letting her to shoot me a small mock glare as she takes the only available seat next to the boy who had been staring at her.

Suddenly, the boy turns around and hands Allison a pen. She looks slightly confused but accepts the pen anyway, staring at it with her brows furrowed.

"We'll begin with Kafka's metamorphosis on page 133." The teacher is babbling on about God knows what but I'm too busy fiddling with the pen in my hand to pay any attention to what he's saying. As the lesson drags on he gives us a task to copy the diagram on the board, shit I don't have a pencil. I turn to Stiles and ask him if he has a pencil that I can borrow. His head snaps towards me and he blinks a couple of times, as if making sure that I was definitely talking to him.

"Erm- yeah, sure, o-of course" he stutters out, obviously flustered. OMG HOW CAN HE BE SO ADORABLE AND HOT AT THE SAME TIME, my mental fan-girling distracts me for a second before I shake my head and accept the pencil. I copy down the diagram slightly faster than the other people in my class so I just sit there for the remainder of the lesson. The trill of the bell signals that the lesson is over so I start to collect the stuff off of my desk and stand up. The sudden realisation that I have no idea where my locker is to put my stuff in makes me groan out loud.

I turn towards Stiles (of course at this point he didn't know that I knew his name) and ask him, "Sorry but do you know where locker number 125 is?"

"Sure, it's right next to mine!" He replies with a grin. We make small talk as he shows me the way to our lockers and we introduce ourselves. I tell him to call me Lexi because Alexandria is long and a bit of a mouthful. We make it to our lockers and I put in the combination that the principal gave me.
