Hi I'm Akaashi Y/N. I'm 16 years old and I'm a second year student in Fukurodani. I'm a manager in a boy volleyball team. Akaashi Keiji is my twin brother and he is the setter. He is the best setter and I don't care if anyone disagrees. He is in the same class as me. Bokuto kotarou is our childhood best friend. We, three, have been together since we were 6 years old. Kei-chan is so overprotective towards me and that's because of what happened 8 years ago. He doesn't let any boy come close to me. I love my brother but sometimes he gets too overprotective and it scares me sometimes when a boy gets on his nerves.

My mom left us when we were 8 years old. And in that moment our father started to change drastically. He would hit us, well kei-chan would take the punches that were meant for me. I hated it when he hurt kei-chan so there are times when I took some of the punches for him. Luckily our aunt saw this abuse and took some evidence and reported it to the police. After months aunt won custody. And I can say that aunt spoils us a lot. The first day of living with her, she would apologize for what our father did to us. At first I didn't understand why she had to apologize when she didn't do anything wrong. We accepted it since we didn't want her to be sad.

Then two years later after she adopted us she got married with her long time boyfriend. Since that day we became a family and all I can say is that I love the family that I have now. Keita, it's the name of Aunt's husband, is a great person, he is calm and has a lot of patience. He is also strict when it's needed. He also helps us study or explain when we don't understand something. He is the best Dad we could ever have, even better than our sperm donor.

"Y/N.. Wake up. It's time for school" Kei-chan said softly while tapping softly on my arm. My brother always wakes me up with a soft voice because he knows loud noises freak me out. I slowly open my eyes then rub it. Then there I see my brother smiling at me. Then I get up and I hug him, it's something I do since that horrible day happened. It always calms me down when I wake up. "Good morning Kei-chan. Thanks. I will go shower now. Thank you for waking me up" Kei-chan hugs me again and he goes downstairs. I go to the bathroom and have a quick shower then I wear my uniform and then I comb my hair. I will brush my teeth after having breakfast. I go downstairs, then I see everyone already at the table waiting for me. "Good morning Mom and Dad" as I kiss their cheeks. I sit down and we start eating. It was a peaceful breakfast and I liked it. After finishing I go to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

"Y/N. Are you ready? Bokuto-san is here waiting for us" Kei-chan says through the bathroom door. I open the door and say "I'm ready. I just need to get my bag and we can go" then I go to my room and grab my bag. Then Go downstairs and see my brother and Bokuto-san in the main door waiting for me. " Let's go". We're walking with my brother and Bokuto-san talking. Bokuto-san is really a cheerful person tho He has his weird mood swings, Kei-chan and everyone in the volleyball team says it's his emo mode. Other than that he is a very nice and friendly person. He also protects me. I'm grateful to have him as my best friend. He talks loud but he makes sure it doesn't freak me out. Bokuto-san and Kei-chan have helped me through everything and were patient enough to deal with my breakdown and outburst. We reach the school and we go straight to the gym. My brother and Bokuto-san went to change while I prepared everything. I take the ball cart and settle in the gym. I also go to fill all the bottles. I wait for Bokuto-san and Kei-chan to help me assemble the net. Because the bars with the net are heavy.

After everything is settled Kei-chan and Bokuto-san start to practice while I cheer on them and praise them. After a while everyone one by one. Shirafuku Yukie and Suzumeda Kaori are both managers too and they are my senpais. They taught me everything about being a manager and they still teach me tho. Everyone in the team are nice and good person except Konoha -.- because he is a pervert. ( At least that's what it seems so to me). "Akaashi!!!" Bokuto-san says as he ready himself to spike the ball. He does line shot cleanly. "I'm the best!! Hey hey hey!!".
