This is simple. My philosophy is that the way the Federal Government made homosexual marriage legal is indeed an illegal, if not despotic act, and that I don't care if your gay. I don't mind if your gay, put your John Thomas wherever the hell you want, I just don't want you flaunting it and my face and shoving it down my throat, all the in this context that last metaphor is a bit crude...
