Dracula Arrives To Beach City

Chapter 15: The lovely Carmilla

The Crystal gems and Dracula appeared at the first site, the first unit of the Vampire horde was located in Japan, specifically Mt. Fuji.  Steven had been left behind with Lapis and Peridot.  Much to his dismay, he was told these next few missions were too dangerous for him.

Dracula had placed them under the mountain using a powerful spell, the spell had opened the mountain by splitting it in half, then the first unit of the horde was swallowed by rock and earth.  And there, Dracula intended for them to stay.

As soon as Dracula and the Crystal gems arrived to Mt. Fuji they could already tell Carmilla's forces  were here but unfortunately not herself.  Hiding behind trees they- even though at a significant distance- could see eleven vampires, Dracula identified that three of them were mages, they were dressed in black and red cloaks, with black boots, with red gauntlets. With black undershirts.  They rest were warriors, they wore black plate armor, with purple stripes, this small squad wore the colors of Carmilla and represented what her army looked like. Upon looking at them more, Dracula cursed himself silently, a hundred years ago Dracula disbanded his vampire army. He now slightly regretted it, he would now deeply appreciate his former Dracul guard to be behind him with their red plate armor that slightly resembled his old suit of armor. If he still had his army he wouldn't have to risk any of the gem's lives for his mistakes. 

Now he was wearing his new armor, and this time the Crystal gems were behind his back.  "The mages are our main concern, if we don't take them out fast enough they will be able to release the first unit of the horde and if that happens, we have already lost, because they will immediately  teleport looking for more units of the horde and release them as well." Dracula said while pointing to the mages, "the mages will defend themselves with all kinds of different spells, and the warriors will meet you head on with claws and fangs, they are not as powerful as me, but do not underestimate them."

"Most of your weapons will do just fine against them, so don't worry about that."

With that final piece said by Dracula, they launched their attack, Garnet charged two warriors and drew the attention of one of the mages.  Pearl launched herself at three vampires and bismuth and amethyst helped her.  Dracula found himself attacking the two other mages, the rest of warriors attacked him in a attempt to protect the mages.  The prince of darkness was attacked from multiple sides, the warriors slashed with claws that never met there mark, Dracula doged and jumped fifteen up into the air, suddenly, he was grabbed by a giant hand made of bats- the two mages had reacted fast enough- and slammed him into the mountain. Dracula jumped out of the hole with fury, the two mages launched four fireballs, Dracula with almost what seemed impossible grace and agility, perceived and doged each fireball mid-air.  He responded with a swarm of bats, it blinded the mages and warriors for a few seconds, a few seconds, was all he needed.  He clawed off the head of one warrior, and plunged his fist into the chest of another, he felt his heart in his hand, he crushed it.  Another warrior jumped on top of his back, Dracula, transformed into a cloud of bats. The warrior lost her grip, fell back to the ground but rolled to regain her stance.  Dracula was back in his normal form, the two vampires eyed each other for a second, suddenly the warrior's eyes grew big, and then Dracula noticed fear in them. "Lord...Lord Dracula, why are you here?!" She asked, clearly now terrified, "You know why I am here girl, and if you want to live to see another night, you will run as fast as you can and leave Carmilla's force. Or, I could just kill you right here." Dracula said with a voice colder than ice.

There wasn't any hesitation, the warrior transformed into a cloud of bats and left. The remaining vampires- including the mages- stopped fighting as well, they surrendered as soon as they heard Dracula was with their attackers.

"You will all tell me and my dear associates here where Carmilla is, if you lie, I promise, you have will something  to fear besides her. " Dracula said, the first one to say anything was a warrior with red hair.
"You will not win, "prince of darkness" Carmilla shall have her revenge, humanity shall become our cattle, the earth will be plunged into eternal night and the vampires shall finally rule this world, as we should."

"Tell me something, boy, do you have any idea what you are releasing?" There was a momentary pause, "No? Good, then let me tell you, you are releasing a weapon that will kill and consume everything.  Carmilla doesn't realize this, nether apparently do her "friends". The Vampire horde will not just stop at humanity being sent back to the dark ages, no. They will wipe humanity off the face the planet and not just humanity but every living thing on this planet... including other vampires"

"Your lying!" The red headed warrior shouted.   Pearl looked over to Dracula and panic rised into her gem.
Dracula's eyes had become crimson red, the forest around them grew dark, extremely dark, even though it was already night.  Pearl felt like she was inside a black hole.  The gems and captured vampires then heard Dracula spoke in a voice that didn't sound like his own, "Do you all wish to see what would happen to the world?" Dracula said.  Then, the area around them changed, as if reality itself was being morphed by some dark power.  The gems noticed they were in space but they couldn't be, all of them looked down. The gems and vampires were horrified by what they saw. 

Earth looked as if the life of the planet had been sucked out.  The world looked destroyed, abandoned, and had been through the most terrible war the planet and it's inhabitants had ever seen.

Then, there scenery changed again.

The group now appeared in what looked like the ruins of a city.
Amethyst heard something crunch under her foot. She looked down and was frozen by what she saw. It looked like what remained of a child's skull.

Pearl saw skeletons everywhere and noticed something as well. Something that made her feel sick, she walked over to it and stopped and just stared at the disturbing sight. It was the remains of a charred family, they had all been hugging each other, even to the bitter end.

Garnet saw what remained of a old shop, it looked utterly destroyed, in fact most of the buildings in this city looked utterly destroyed.  Garnet turned right and saw a car. She walked over towards it, she peaked inside. She saw a couple, they both had been brutally killed. She noticed something else that made her gasp. In both of their hands she saw a ring.

Then, as if with the snap of a finger. They were back in the forest, as if nothing had happened.

"What...what was that?" Amethyst asked, her voice sounded shaky.  "It was a possible future, isn't that right Garnet?" Dracula said.  Garnet grimly agreed. For a moment, Pearl looked around, she saw the corpses of the other vampires that Dracula had killed, she cringed at the brutality of their deaths, even now, she had her doubts about allying with the vampire.  Pearl looked at Garnet, she seemed to notice as well.

"Carmilla is in the netherworld, guarded by an army of vampires loyal to her cause in her castle. That is all we know, I swear upon it. And with what you have shared, I hope you do stop her Lord Dracula"

The gems and Dracula allowed the remaining vampires to leave in peace.

With learning this new information, the gems and Dracula returned to beach city, it was day time by the time they were all inside the beach house, everyone was there, Connie, Steven, Greg, Lapis, Peridot, and the other members of the Crystal gems.
"The netherworld is a place only I can go to, it only allows creatures of darkness to enter, meaning I will go alone, I will need the rest of you to go after the other activation sites."  With that said, Dracula tossed Garnet the device that will show the location of the other sites.

"I'm going to the nether, to end this madness."
