Dracula Arrives To Beach City

Chapter 10: Finding Dracula and the rematch

3rd person POV: Today was particularly sunny but for five weeks the Crystal gems searched for any sign of the Vampire, they initially searched the town for clues, soon enough they decided to split their efforts, Lapis, Peridot, and Bismuth would go to the castle that Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst had entered weeks earlier.
If Dracula was found they were told not to engage him immediately but to contact the others and wait for backup. Pearl, Garnet, Steven, and Amethyst would search the woods for Dracula, if he was found there as well they would wait for backup before confronting him. The plan was to attack and overwhelm him, then they would stake him in the heart(much to Steven's disapproval). Pearl carried the stake in her gem, however Lapis would be the one to do it, her water abilities allow her a deadly precision of accuracy, she could be a 100 meters from Dracula and still manage the shot. Little to their knowledge, they were stumbling closer to their objective and the Prince of darkness himself was waking up.

Dracula POV: Hmm, how long I have I been asleep? I thought to myself while sitting up, "Ah, it doesn't matter, I'm immortal, I have all the time in the universe." I said while standing up and stretching, the windows of course were covered up for obvious reasons, it would be quite a hilarious tragedy if the lord of the undead died due to windows. The amulet that allowed me to walk around in the sun was still around my neck, "Ah, good I was afraid I might have lost it." Hmm, I think its time I took a shower, I can't recall taking one after the battle with the gems or the Dragon.

3rd person POV: Dracula prepared himself a hot shower and after, dressed in a similar get up he had on before, making sure the amulet that kept him safe from the sun was safely on his neck . "It's time I get something to eat as well, I can certainly wait longer than other vampires but even I have my limits". With that said Dracula stepped out of the house releasing the spell he had on it as well, after a few hours Dracula spotted a deer, "Perfect" he silently said as he crept up on it with barely any sound, the deer itself was blissfully drinking at a pound that was covered by trees. Dracula pounced on the creature, he gave it a quick death by snapping it's neck, after that he feed, he drained so much blood from the creature that it looked like a skeleton with flesh. Getting up and wiping his lips he said"There, that should definitely last me for a while." With that done, Dracula set off towards his home, thinking of a plan on how to approach the crystal gems, he didn't want them to be enemies, Dracula knows he has plenty enough of those.

Gems POV: Pearl had been the one to spot him drinking blood from the deer, she had been keen to keep her distance from him and contact the other gems, Garnet, Amethyst, and Steven were on her in a matter of minutes, it however took a while longer for Peridot, Bismuth, and Lapis to arrive. Pearl gave Lapis the stake so they could be ready to execute the final part of their plan. Finally they set out in search of the Vampire, eventually they came across a house, Garnet stepped closer to the house, inspecting it. Suddenly they heard something, they all looked up and we're meet by a sight that momentarily shocked them, Dracula was standing on top of the house with armor and a cape, the armor was similar but still significantly different from the armor they had at the house that belonged to him. "So, you have found me, now what exactly are you planning to do about it?" He said in a threatening tone that sent a chill through everyone of the gems.
"We plan to end you monster!" Garnet shouted while summoning her gauntlets, "Monster?" He spit out, "Yes, I know exactly what you are my vision- Garnet was intruded by a cold laugh from Dracula, "You're vision? Let me make this clear woman, you don't know a damn thing about me, you have no idea what I have sacrificed, what I have lost, what I have suffered, and what I have done.
You have no idea of the pain I have went through throughout the centuries." Dracula had said it so codly with a hint of anger in his voice, the gems and him were silent for a few seconds before Pearl broke the silence, "We may not know about the other things but we do know that you are a monster, we saw you're "work" at that castle you call a home, we know that you have done unspeakable horrors to humanity and we know that you were human at one point as well- "SILENCE!" Dracula shouted, "You think you know me? Because you have been to my castle? Do you even know why I have that graveyard outside of my castle? *Silence* No you don't! You are correct that I was once human, my name was Vlad tepes, Prince of Wallachia! I sacrificed my humanity to save my people from a threat known as the Ottoman empire! And do you know what I got in return? Nothing but my entire people slaughtered in front of me! Not even my wife and child were spared! I remember it still as if it happened yesterday, the screams, the cries, and the corpses to bury after!" He spat out the last part, the gems were completely silent, their expressions were a mix of shock, horror, sympathy, and shame, Dracula's face was a expression of sheer rage, his eyes completely crimson red, with blood flowing out of them.
