Becoming an Author was easy, all you had to do was pick up a pen and write a book, it was getting popular and actually earning revenue that was hard. It could take years to just sell one book.
Luckily Izuku had years.
But before he could start writing a book he needed a pen name, he didn't want to risk being found out as Quirkless and lose all of his effort.
Plenty of Authors used pen names, usually to escape media attention, so he wasn't worried about that, no...
It was finding a pen name that didn't sound stupid that was hard. He looked up Authors that had pen names but revealed their real names later on.
A common theme was to use words that describe you to make up your name. A physical attribute for your first name, and a mental attribute for your last.
Using this method Izuku created his author persona's first name: Hisui, but he was still having trouble with the last name.
He wasn't good at picking out positive features about himself mental or otherwise so he looked to his mom for help.
His mother, bless her heart, gave him many wonderful ideas but one of them really stuck out:
Anarisuto
It ment Analyst in English.
It was perfect.
With his pen name decided Izuku was about to start writing a book, when his mother pointed out the time.
10:00 PM
Had he really been thinking of a pen name that long? (In the morning he would realize it was probably more the search for his new dream than deciding his pen name, but in his defense it had been a long day.)
He gave his mother a hug and a kiss before going to bed.
Or, rather, laying in bed for one hour to disturbed by the All Might faces ti sleep before deciding to sleep on the couch.
First order of business tomorrow: Get rid of all that junk in his room.
