' I will be there in ten minutes ' The text message read. You were just brushing your hair when it came through.

"Ah I hope this is appropriate to wear to skate!" you mumbled to yourself.

It had been awhile since you last went ice skating. God knows you can't skate, even if you tried.

"She is here!" Your mum called out.

You ran out the front door, saying goodbye to your mum first.

"Sorry I took a while, I got lost!" Gal chuckled

"Oh don't worry, thanks for picking me up" You smiled.

The Ice rink wasn't far away, But it gave you two a chance to talk about school, work things like that.

As you both were putting on your shoes you tapped her shoulder,

"Oh, Thought I should let you know. I can't skate" You said awkwardly

"Hmm, Thats ok! I can teach you" Gal smiled

As you stepped out onto the ice a rush of fear kicked in, 'UH OH' . You quickly grabbed onto the side rail, in an attempt to move out the way for others you crab walked over to the side. 

you sighed. This is so stupid!! You look like a total dweeb and there was nothing you could do... Until you remembered what Gal had said. 

*Gal's POV*

Y/N and I are going ice skating today! I can't wait to see her again, I love spending time with her.

"Ah, I think this is the right house" 

Oh thank goodness there she is! My little baby safe and sound. This will be so fun!

alright, lets head out onto the rink! oh my gosh- what if we accidently hold hands? ... I can just say it's to help her so she doesn't fall over. that should work!*

I look so stupid right now, she probably is laughing at me oh god.

"Here, take my hand. We can do this together, nice and slow" Gal assured you.

OH. MY. GOSH. we are holding hands!!! wait no, we need to remain calm. she will think that we are weird!

The following 30 mins were just the both of you skating in silence until.
