Setting: beach

time: 9pm

(basic overview, continuation on from last story)

You were left at the beach alone, all your friends went home. They weren't being mean, It had just been a long day. You all had spent the day at the beach together, walking, talking and swimming. You were exhausted but you decided to hang around. The beach is always lovely at night.

The sunset tonight was exceptionally beautiful. Your phone buzzed. Your friends kept sending you videos of Gal, Ever since they found out you got her number they've been bothering you. You all probably spent over an hour today just talking about her. It was clear that the love bug had bitten you all. You just refused to accept the fact it did. 

You were sitting on a bench looking around, and that's when you spotted her. Gal, strutting along the walk path. surprisingly nobody pulled her over for a photo. You smiled to yourself and then covered your mouth immediately. Lets be calm.

"Gal? Is that you?" You called out, you were sure this would get others attention. I guess not.

"Y/N! Is that really you?" Gal ran over to you. My gosh she was Fast. 

Before you could respond she pulled you in for a hug, holding you tightly. Oh boy, no way are your friends going to let you go anywhere alone if this is the luck you have.

When she let you go you felt a tad disappointed, why couldn't it of lasted longer?

"What are you doing here all by yourself?" Gal said as she sat down next you you.

"Oh I am just enjoying the view" you said, totally forgetting you're looking her dead in the eyes. That statement made her smile and look away.

"Yes I suppose this little beach has its charm" she giggled.

Your stomach growled, you hadn't eaten since around one. It was well and truly past dinner time. Gal turned to you, 

"Are you hungry? I haven't eaten all day! Photoshoots are such a bore" Gal sighed.

 "Yes I am a bit hungry, I haven't eaten since lunchtime" You said quietly. WHY IS THIS SO WEIRD? ITS LITERALLY A CONVERSATION CALM DOWN.

Gal smiled at you, you felt all fuzzy.

"Well, Let's go grab some chips!" Gal tickled you, she grabbed your hand and pulled you up off the bench.

While you two walked along the side walk, in silence, a comfortable silence. You felt Gals arm shifting towards yours. Was she, trying to hold your hand?! 

You made it to the small shop, Gal ordered some hot hips, a large bag at that. While you stood in line as she ordered she held your hand, tightly. Every now and again rubbing your hand with her thumb as if to reassure you. 

"Order 46!" The cashier called out. Gal smiled at you and dashed over to the counter.

You both found somewhere to sit on the grass, You noticed that when Gal ate, she would cover her mouth every now and again. She would also do a little dance. She is so funny.

"Oh! Y/N catch!" Gal tossed you a chip

"Awh I missed, your turn!" You grabbed a chip from the bag.

The both of you laughed so hard that you were rolling on the floor laughing, Gal sat up and wiped a tear from her eye.

"We should go walk off all these giggles! Lets go to the jetty" She stood up and brushed herself off.

"Sure! sounds good" you said happily.

You ran along in front, she walked along behind you. She smiled as she heard your giggles.

"Wait Y/N I don't wanna lose you!" She picked up her pace.

You both stood on the jetty, watching the waves crash against each other. You looked at Gal. She smiled warmly as she looked out at the sea. She glances at you and looks away. She turned back to you and got down to your level. Making direct eye contact with you.

 "Did you have fun?" She placed her hands on your arms.

"Yes of course I did! We should catch up again sometime" You nodded.

"Right! We should" Gal walked you to the bus stop, 

"Can I come on as well, I don't like you taking public transport at night.. alone" Gal looked at the floor, she grabbed your hand and held it firmly.

You sighed and nodded, You looked out of the window at the passing lights.

Just before you went to bed you and Gal were discussing your next hang out session.

"So its a date then! Sleep well Y/N" 

You covered your mouth, 

D A T E

Oh well, guess you'll worry about it in the morning. As for now. You were heading to sleep.

Before you fell asleep that word flashed in your mind again, DATE. It made you feel warm and excited. God bless your next catch up is going to be a mess.
