Makoto was in his room, fixing his bowtie. He decided to change his outfit to something nicer for the ball. He wore a black suit jacked, with a green buttoned vest over a white shirt and a black bowtie, along with black pants and shoes. The meeting ended at around 3:30 so everyone could go home and get ready for the ball.

They spent their remaining meeting time doing nothing but planning for the ball, and sending out orders to the people at the new Future Foundation.

I wonder if everyone is at the new Future Foundation and helping set up the ball. Makoto thought. He finally got his tie tied when Kyoko walked in.

She wore a long, purple dress that had a split down her left leg, and sleeves that hugged her shoulders and collarbone. Her feet were covered by black heels and her hair was straightened, her bangs still covering her forehead, and a braid crowned her head, her black gloves covering her hands.

"You look great." Makoto complimented. Kyoko looked at him and gave him a small, soft, caring smile before walking over, straightening his suit.

"You look great too." She spoke. Makoto saw that her eyes were covered by black eyeshadow, creating a smokey effect.

"Did you hear from everyone?" Makoto asked.

"Byakuya said that some people are already showing up. He arrived early to make sure the bodyguards are prepared and ready to allow people in or kick them out."

"Anything on the 77th class?"

"Not that I've heard of." Kyoko replied.

Makoto looked over at the clock. It was already 6:20 PM.

"Anything from Komaru?" Kyoko asked.

"She said that she won't be able to attend the party." Makoto replied. "Sad really. Komaru was looking forward for our first anniversary party, celebrating our three strong years, but because she has been busy lately, she can't join."

"I'm sure she'll be there for our next year anniversary."

Kyoko finished straightening his tie. She looked over at the clock.

"It's almost time to go. Are you ready?" Kyoko asked, giving Makoto a patient look. Makoto smiled.

"Yep. I got my phone, fully charged, got my suit, got my tie, my shoes, my hair brushed, I'm all ready to go."

Kyoko smiled and grabbed his hand with her gloved one.

"Let's go then." She said. Makoto grabbed Kyoko's black wrap as they walked out the door.

"You got so worked up on wondering if I was ready, you almost forgot your wrap." Makoto told her, wrapping her wrap around Kyoko.

When Kyoko and Makoto pulled in and got out of the car, they were greeted by an impatient Byakuya who wore a white suit, black gloves, and a green tie and a huge, black wool coat over his shoulders.

"You guys are the last to arrive." He said, as the two greeted his side and was then leaded towards a big building across the street.

"Hey, at least it's 7:00." Makoto joked. Byakuya gave him a stern look before giving him a smile.

"Come on, let's hurry inside. Everyone is waiting for their host."

As they followed Byakuya, Byakuya looked back.

"No Komaru?"

"Not tonight. She was busy." Makoto answered.
