Reconciliation

"Punn."

I stared at him wide eyed.

"You..."

He looked like he run all the way, he was still trying to catch his breath.

"Mr. Pom told me..."

I'm dumbfounded, not expecting Mr. Pom to out me like that when I requested this to be hidden from Punn.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Without using my potential, I can actually feel what he is feeling. Worry.

I'm still staring at him wide-eyed.

"I'm sorry. I know I've been less understanding of you. Let's make up already? I miss you so much it actually hurts." Now looking at me teary eyed, I can't help the emotions running thru me either.

Tears started escaping my eyes. Without any words, I hugged him tight. This exact moment make me feel lighter, in a way that there is no other emotions except for comfort.

I continued to silently cry on his shoulder, his grip on me didn't loosen and I have no plans of letting go.

For now, I just wanna soak myself in this comfort that he is giving me.

After awhile, I felt tears dry on my cheek and try to form words that I wanted to say but never had the courage to during our silent war.

"I'm sorry, I know I've changed a lot. I became more sensitive and emotional." He looks at me with understanding eyes.

He nodded and said "It's okay. Don't blame yourself. It's fine now. We're okay now." Touching my cheeks with both of his hands.

I felt that it is just the two of us, the feelings of love and comfort blossomed inside of me. Relieved that we passed thru this obstacle in our relationship.

We held hands, sitting on the metal chair as we wait for the results.

After a few minutes, "Student Claire Irin Jaratpun, please come inside."

I faced Punn, "Can I go by myself?" He looks ready to protest but I cut him off, "Please?"

Unable to retort he only nod his head. Kissing my forehead then going for the words "Okay, I'll wait for you here."

I smiled, hold his hand tight then stood up to go in doctor's clinic.

Entering the room, the doctor already sensed my different aura.

"Something happened between the time you left my office and before you come back. Mind telling me why you're eyes are swollen? Should I ask the nurse to give you anti-histamine?(an anti-allergic medication)" He said smiling, trying to lift up the atmosphere.

"No need for meds doc, my boyfriend and I actually made up. I just felt relief that our fight is over."

It suddenly hit me that my potential didn't actually manifest when Punn showed up in front me.

I looked at the doctor, " I didn't used my potential when I saw him. There was no color."

He looks puzzled for a moment then I continued, "Though I can feel what he was feeling at the moment, but only comfort. There was no negative emotions at all." I finished explaining to him, hopeful that I didn't need to regularly visit his clinic after all.

"Well, it was good to hear. However, I would still need to monitor your progress. I have to male sure that there is truly nothing worth concerning about. For now, I'll give you a higher dose of tylenol, but only used this if you can't take the pain of your migraines."

I accepted the medicine he handed over.

"and also please inform me if you notice any drastic change. Alright, I know you wanted to leave now." He smiled good-naturedly. "And don't forget our next appointment. No skipping okay?"

Smiling, I replied "Alright doc. Thank you so much for today."

Closing his door gently, I saw Punn stood up immediately.

"Are you okay? Is there any problem with your potential? Do you need to come back for more checkups? Are you—-" I cut off his worried rambling with a smile.

I took his hand and told him "I'm fine now. He just gave me some pain reliever. And I needed to comeback, but only just to monitor my health."

He let out a sigh of relief and mumbled "I'm so glad."

Smiling at him, I linked my arms to his and started to walk.

"Would you like to drink some tea with me?"

"I would like to." Consenting and smiling. He looks so cute. His pink plump lips and bright eyes are so picturesque.

Being together again with him like this, it makes me feel complete. This is so cliche but I can't find any other words to describe this incredible feeling.
