I suggest playing the song above, Heavenly by Cigarettes after Sex, during a scene where I'll tell you to, it adds more to the scene! :)

The day I first laid my eyes on you, I will never forget. I don't know how, or what it was that brought me so much comfort in your lively eyes. Throughout the months that i've known you, could easily be described as my best, yet worst months of my life.
I'm glad I did what I did. Otherwise I wouldn't have known that such an amazing, lovely person existed. But sometimes, I deeply regret it.

New years - Beach party
———"This party sucks." I slouched in my chair near the bonfire and tapped my fingers on the glass filled with pink lemonade, and a cute little umbrella to go with it. I imagined myself at my house, doing whatever I wanted or getting my much needed sleep. What I didn't expect for this night was to get dragged to a party by my friends and do absolutely nothing except sit and look stupid near a bonfire, that were making my eyes fucking burn. And worst of it, I was one hour away from home. And I certainly wasn't wanting to take care of my drunk friends for the whole night. This was one way to spend break.
"Don't be so negative, this party's really cool!" My best friend, Emberly, said to me. She grabbed my hand and clapped them against each other while laughing, my face still remaining in an annoyed expression. Her laughter quickly faded as she rolled her blue eyes.
"Right? Look, there's dancers over there too," My other friend, Eleanor, pointed to a small bar with dancers near it. There were also a big group of people playing volleyball. Even though there were plenty of fun activities to do here, I wasn't feeling excitement. It was cold, windy, the damn fire was burning my eyes, and the sound of people gave me a headache.
"Whatever. I'm getting a drink." I stood up and walked over to the bar, trying to make my way through the big crowd of dancers without getting pushed. I sat down at the bar stool and swirled my black straw in the lemonade, putting my elbow on the table and taking another big drink of it while I looked at everyone having the time of their lives; which I clearly wasn't. I pushed my now empty glass further down the counter, resting my jaw on the palm of my hand as I observed everything. There was loud music playing with people dancing and singing, a huge group people split into two playing volleyball, and then my small group of friends surrounding the bonfire.
My life's boring, but not this boring. I mean, come on, what the hell do I do here?
Putting aside my hatred for this, I spotted an unfamiliar face I haven't seen here before. This party was for students who attended our university only. He was around Florence Casey, one of my.. friends. Florence's was playing volleyball with his group of friends. The boy had his arms crossed and was gently kicking the sand with his feet near the waves, looking at the game. He looked bored. The same face I was making back at the fire.
