A/N: This chapter is about our main character Lindsey and her first day at Hogwarts.
My name is Lindsey Lily Lupin. I was born on February 12, 1978, in New York City. My father, you guessed it, is Remus Lupin. I am a half-blood. I don't know who my mother is, besides the fact that she's a muggle. She left my father and me right after I was born. My father moved us to London after he found out his best friends Lily and James Potter were murdered by the dark wizard Voldemort. Then when I turned 11, he had me go to Hogwarts.
I have long dark brown hair and forest green eyes. I have fair skin that is covered in freckles. I am an average height, about 5'5.
I should have a British accent living in London for so long, but I have a very strong American accent.
~Flashback~
"Lindsey! Let's go! We're going to be late if you don't hurry up!" My dad calls from the kitchen.
"Coming Dad!" I finish packing my trunk and run down the stairs.
"Ready for your first year at Hogwarts?" My dad smiles at me.
"Yes, but I'm kind of nervous. What if I don't make any friends?" I ask.
"You will! You've always been great at making friends sweetie!"
He wasn't wrong. I went to a muggle school before I turned 11. I made many friends there who I am still friends with now. I had to tell them I was going to a boarding school in Scotland and that I'd be able to see them during Christmas or Summer.
My dad drove us to Kings Cross Station. We had gone to Diagon Alley earlier that week to get my supplies for Hogwarts. I had gotten a beautiful red-ish brown barn owl named Delilah.
We walked to the platform between 9 and 10.
"Okay sweetie, just run into the wall." My dad motioned towards the wall.
"WHAT?! Run into the wall are you insane?" I looked at my father confused.
I turn my head to see a red-headed woman walking with her children, who also happen to have very bright red hair.
"Alright, Percy and Charlie you first, show your brothers how it's done." The woman said to one of the redheads.
The boy walked straight into the wall and went right through it!
"Woah! Dad, did you see that?" I said astonished.
Then I spotted two identical red-heads.
"Alright, Fred and George go on through." The woman said as she pointed at the wall.
The boys went into the wall, the woman spotted me.
"Oh, are you a first-year? So are my boys that just went through. It's completely safe I promise! Go on through darling." She said as she smiled at me.
I gulped. "Okay..." I walked into the wall with my cart expecting to run right into it, but as the others did, I went right through!
On the other side of the wall was a train station, much like Kings Cross but there was a big red train and many people with carts like me.
My dad followed me through the wall.
"Alright Linds, are you ready to go?" My dad asked me.
"I guess... I'm gonna miss you so much, Dad!" I said as I hugged my father tight.
"I'll miss you too darling, but I'll see you for Christmas it'll be great!" He said as he hugged me back.
"Okay, love you!" I said as I walked towards the train.
