Chapter 29 - beginning of the end

"Somethings happening"

"yeah, we are going to find out where Error, your brother and the rest of the gang have been hiding all this time!"
Ink always sounds so confident in what he says, but after the incident, he seems more unsure about himself.

"And make them explain what the hell all that was!"
And so do the others.

"Or we could just kill them. Make sure this never happens again."
Well, most of them.

I don't like this.

The aura around here is growing more negative.

[no-ones pov]
A meeting had been called by the star sanses, most of the arrivals seemed unsure about being there, but were there nonetheless. Some had noticed that a couple weren't there, some that usually never skip a meeting. And some also noticed that blue seemed like he was waiting for something.

It was mostly the same as every other meeting, everyone would yell at each other, going over ideas, new and old, what worked on previous plans and what didn't.

A few were keeping an eye on Blue, waiting for whatever he seemed to be waiting for.

They didn't notice him checking his phone as he played with it in his hands.

Nor were they ready for when he stop and smiled, not a creepy one, more of a relieved one.

Like the wait was finally over.

None of them were prepared for when he suddenly summoned gaster blasters around the room, all facing towards the roof.

And once the dust had cleared, none of them had considered that Blue could just stand next to nightmare and the gang.

Why would they? Blue was always wanting them to just ask them. Ask them why they did what they did.

They didn't consider that Blue had already done that, and knew the whole time.

And now as time seems to stop, they all watch from the ruins of the room they once gathered in almost weekly, as an army of doppelgangers they didn't know existed gathered before them ready to strike.

And then they realised they had nowhere to run, and possibly, nowhere to hide.

The field that once laid empty,

The field that became the main base for the multiverse's 'heroes',

Was the field that would be the stage for the battle that would decide their FATE.
