Sara throws a glass against the parlour wall. She is angry and still raw from losing Martin. Everyone treated her too kindly and she hated being treated like an injured child. Then, Martin died, and her world fell apart. Now she blames herself for his death.
Ava boards the Waverider to see that everyone is quieter than usual. It was to be expect after their devastating loss. What surprised her more was the cool tempered Captain Lance was throwing things in the parlour.
"Ms. Lance! Gather yourself!" she exclaims, not wanting to yell but needing to grab the Captain's attention.
"She is going through the anger stage of her grieving," Leo Snart says loudly, causing the team to jump. Mick just chugs his beer, dodging the flying books. Sara is still in a blind rage.
"Who wants to sedate her?" Zari recommends and Ray groans.
"She did not take that well last time. Let's not and never say we will!" he exclaims. Sara turns around, having run out of things to throw and notices Ava.
"What the fuck do you want?!" she exclaims, angrier than ever. Ava takes a step back, never seeing this sides to her.
"Gather yourself or you will need to be sedated," Ava says, slowly pulling her memory flasher and switching it to a stun setting.
"Oh? You think you can stun me? Like Rip did? Yeah, well, when you do, I can wake up and make your life hell!" Sara challenges as Ray pulls a syringe from a box and shows Ava who automatically understands.
"Why are you acting like this?"
"BECAUSE I AM FED UP WITH LOSING PEOPLE!"
"Why is it only Martin that is upsetting you? Why is this upsetting you?"
"Martin knew how I felt. He knew my fears and my pain. He knew what I was. No matter what I told him, he wouldn't look at me the way you are all looking at me. I'm a monster!" Sara screams, angrily. Ava's phone beeps and Sara growls at her. Ray gets close and jams the sedative into the ship captain's arm. Sara's vision grows blurry as she faints, falling into Ava's arms.
"She needs restraints until we can fully understand what is happening. This could be an after effect of the coma. I would have Gideon run a full scan, but I need to go. Director Bennett needs to be updated on the loss. The Legends are to remain grounded until she is able and ready to go through with this devastating loss. If all else fails, we may have no option but to wipe her memory of this angry outburst to further protect, not only us, but her," Agent Sharpe says and hands Sara's limp body off to Leo who follows Ray to the infirmary. Through the walk, Leo comes up with an idea. He is going to help the team cope while Agent Sharpe helps Sara.
