Max POV

After thinking about what to do for our anniversary, I decided to get a dog.

*the next day... *

I wake up and slowly got up, so I wouldn't wake Layla up. I went to set everything up. And went back to the room we shared.

Layla POV

I woke up and saw Max at the door frame, he walk up to me and said, morning, mi amor. Can you put this blindfold" as he gave me the blindfold. I put it on and max held my hand.

Soon, we were downstairs. "Alright, you can take the blindfold off, babe" he said, I then took the blindfold off. "Happy 7th anniversary!" He shout, "aww, baby" I said. He then gave me a card and (your favorite flower).

After we both ate, he told me to read the card. It says...

Dear mi amor,

  Today marks the 7th year we are together, this year you will have to go for a treause hunt for you present.

Clue 1
To find the next clue sovle this riddle, 

A story, they say, can take you away,
But a book still needs a place to stay.

I start to look around and think, 'oh, bookshelf!' I thought. I walk towards the bookshelf meat the TV. I look through and found a paper, it says...

Oh, look you found the second clue, to find the next clue solve this riddle,

I don't go out and play, I just stay home all day, I'm nice – you might agree, but mostly your feet just rub me?

I think, 'the door-mat' I thought. Walk out the front door and pick up the mat, and the paper was there, it says...

Clue 3
Oh, you found the third clue. To find your gift get in the car, Max will be there...

I got up and walk to Max's carand got in, "here, put it on" Max said as I put the blindfold.

Max POV

When we arrived at the shelter, the puppy was ready and everything was set up.

(This is how it looks like)

It breed is called pompoo (weird name, but its a Pomeranian and a poodle mix)

"OK, you can take the blindfold off" I said as Layla took off the blindfold.

Layla POV

I took off the blindfold, "oh my god" I said as I saw the puppy. "We're getting a puppy?" I asked, he nod. We then sign the paperwork for the puppy and got in the car and went home. When we reach, I went inside with the puppy.

"Babe, remember we had a room and we didn't know what to do with it" Max said, I followed him to the spare room. "I made it into the puppy room" he said, "woah... Cool... When did you do this?" I said as I put the puppy down for her to look and smell the surrounding.

"When you were at your parents house" he said. I nod, then we start playing with the puppy. "What do you want to name it?" Max asked, "Annie?" I said. Then the puppy looks at me, "well... Annie it is" Max said as we continue to play with Annie.

*3 months later...*

Max POV

"Can I see that?" I pointed through the glass, "alright... Here" the man said. I look at this then asked, "which once would you recommend?". " I'll say... This one... And this " the man said. "alright, I'll have this one" I said, "great, it pretty, she will love it" the man said.

*2 months later...*

No one POV

Max and Layla were taking a nap. Soon Max wake up, and went to get ready. Soon, Layla wake up and asked. "Where are you going, baby?" She asked, "oh, you're awake. Go get ready and wear something nice, I'm bringing you somewhere" Max said.

Layla POV

I got up and went to my closest and get out this.

While I was getting dressed I wondered, 'where is Max bringing me?'. Once I was dressed, I went downstairs. "Ready to go, mi amor?" Max said, I nod and we get in the car. When we arrived, he told me to put on the blindfold. I did as told, and I squeaked as he carried me.

Soon, I was placed. "Alright, you can take the blindfold off" Max said and I took it off. I look around, there were palm trees, candles placed surrounding the area, rose petals were placed to make a heart. Max was standing a few metres away from me, I start to walk towards him and he start to walk towards me too.

When we met in the heart, Max held my hand. "Baby, what is all this" I said as we locked eyes, "About seven years ago, I fell in love with my childhood best friend. We had gone through ups and downs in our lives, Layla... you were there when times were difficult. You showed my true love." Max said as he get on one knee.

"Layla Gibson, Will you marry me?". "Yes! Baby, of course!" I said as I hugged him and everyone came out cheering, by everyone I mean my mom and dad. Max's parents (Eddie and Gabby) and their friends (Narrator, Lynessa, Josh, Kristy, Mully and Tanner). We all went to our house and celebrate.
