"What is it you want Enora?"

"I'm leaving to join Zhao."

Prince Zuko chances a glance backwards to find Enora once more.

Ever since the news of the Herald, she had not left his side something he found himself grateful for. She sits on his bed reading through a scroll based on the history of Guardian's of Fire with only a brief mention of the last known Guardian. A single sentence only containing the name "Kenzo Amzi". She's not said a word during the entirety of their time but when he notes the growl in her stomach he knows she's starving.

"Nor?"

"Sire?"

"Are you hungry?"

"Are you?"

"Yes. Get two plates of whatever the cook made."

She smiled shaking her head and stood up. "Wish me luck." He lifted a single hand her way waving a flame of luck. He could only imagine how the cook would squawk about why they'd skip dinner only to ask for a midnight snack.

Moments after she left there was a knock on his bedroom door. "What?"

"Prince Zuko. I come baring a message written to Lady Enora. " Announces Soldier Gerk holding out a package, glancing nervously around.

"It was about time my sister wrote back." Prince Zuko huffed still focused on his paperwork. "Set Azula's letter on the desk and I'll see to it that Enora gets it."

"It's not from the Princess sir. It's from Admiral Zhao. "

Prince Zuko's eyes narrow as he stands abruptly ripping the package from Gerk's grip. "Why would Zhao write to her?"

Gerk lifts an eyebrow and ever the loyal solider offers, "If she has nothing to hide, surely she won't mind if you read it?"

Normally the Prince would have snapped about how he didn't need Gerk meddling in business or how one should respect the privacy of a lady.... but curiosity was pulling him apart. He opened the package and found silk ribbons of bright red and a black and red silk robe, backless and rather adult for a fourteen year old girl.

In that moment the Prince knew this was not something Enora would ever wear. She refuses to wear anything that exposed her back. Even as children on Ember Island , in its blistering heat ,she chose outfits that covered her back.

He grabbed the letter within the package reading it silently to himself.
