You woke the next morning, hurrying to get ready. Today was Saturday and you were visiting Hogsmeade, one of your favorite activities to do. You awoke and immediately sprung out of bed, sitting down in front of a mirror to try and tame your hair. You worked a brush through it and finally got it situated in two French braids draped over your shoulders, past your collarbones. You applied little makeup, seeing as you believed more in true beauty. You also pulled on a Gryffindor sweater and some black pants, as well as white tennis shoes and your robes. Tucking your wand up your sleeve and grabbing your bag, you rushed to the Great Hall.

As soon as you ran out the common room, you felt an impact on your face. You had run into someone. Stuttered apologies came out of your mouth as you looked up to see who it was. Looking up, you saw the warm, friendly smile of Oliver.

"Oh Oliver- I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention." You laughed, glad it was him and not a professor or an upperclassmen. "Of course, you weren't. Daydreaming again, y/n?" He asked.

For some reason, your first name tumbling from his lips gave you butterflies in your stomach and you immediately felt your cheeks heat up. "Oh, shut it, Wood." You smiled, sensing his joking manner in his statement. He had read you like a book, once again. Of course, you were daydreaming, why wouldn't you? With the thought of breakfast and the adventures you were going to have today, your mind was a whirlwind of excitement.

Oliver stepped aside, beckoning you to follow him. "I was coming to find you so we could go to breakfast together." You gave him a smile, following by his side, telling him all about your plans you had for today. Throughout your excitement and babbling about what you wanted to do today, you missed the smile he had when he looked at you, the look of admiration in his eyes when he listened to you. In his eyes, he could listen to your sweet voice all day long, just talking about anything and everything.

Oliver's daydream was soon cut short when you two reached the Great Hall. You took your seat next to Angelina, listening to her talk about this new boy she had been infatuated with recently. While listening, you felt the feeling of slight jealousy arise. How come you weren't able to find someone like that? You knew you were a bit on the wild side and talked a lot, and would rather be found reading by a fire than out partying with the Weasley twins; though you have been found doing so once or twice.

Pushing the feeling aside, you gushed over Angelina reinvention of the story of their date at the Astronomy Tower, Oliver was listening as well, his mind mostly focused on the vanilla clouding his senses for what seemed to be the five-hundredth time that day, sighing softly to himself.

You felt a small tap on your shoulder and turned to see a devilishly handsome Slytherin boy that you knew from classes. "Oh hello, Andre." You smiled cheerfully, confused on why he was over at the Gryffindor table. "Y/n, I was wondering if you would like to accompany me to Hogsmeade and possibly go to the Three Broomsticks with me?" He asked, a determined smile on his face.
