"loneliness; affective and cognitive discomfort or uneasiness from being or perceiving oneself to be alone or otherwise solitary."

"..hey, kani! are you coming or do i have to find another excuse for your absence once again?" sigh. "coming!", the boy shouted weakly, but to no avail, his only friend had already disappeared in their classroom at the end of the hallway. sigh, again. the boy raised his head and immediately wanted to go back to staring at the vinyl flooring of his school again, but he couldn't miss his favourite class. he never missed philosophy.
so this was his chance, his chance to swim through the gigantic wave of chatting students; some older and some younger than him. said 9th grader was incredibly short for his age, which made the average people heading to their classrooms all at once while kani stood in the middle of them, look ferocious and absolutely massive.

the sound of the bell ringing for the third time today made him finally make his way through the mass of students, disgust washing through his petite body. he'll never understand the excitement of being and behaving just like everyone else. every girl smelling like some annoyingly stinking perfume while trying to stand out, or for the boys, it was oh so cool to wear the most expensive pair of shoes or whatever. kani never understood the boys at his school. he doesn't understand anyone at all.
it's always been akuma kani, the odd one out of the whole school.

i hope you liked the first chapter of this book. there will be more in the future, it would be nice if you could give me some ideas what i should write in the next few parts. ♡
