Chapter #5

A slap across annika's by naira was a dream by Annika which she realised it ,the moment naira hugged her tightly and tears were running across her cheeks.

Kartik just smiled at them with a teary eyed. It's been too long when two best friends met after a long time. He remembered how much Annika suffered in their love story and she even helped naira to elope from the marriage which her parents arranged for her.

Annika - I missed you

Naira - oh really !! You missed me idiot (She shouts)

Naira's shouting grabbed attention of other employees including shivaay who was busy in his phone.

Naira - Why would you shut me out of your life ? You didn't contacted me four years and now u miss me. How ironic is it ?

Annika - I am sorry .. it was my brother

Annika chokes on her saliva and stammers

Flashback

Naira's family was the great Thakur's ,when Annika helped naira to elope from her wedding which ruined their image in the society . Thakur's were disappointed with Kapoor and became business rivals causing many loss to Kapoor's business . Annika was beaten badly by her brother and even threatened to destroy kartik and naira for all this chaos which scared to death . She was aware of her brother's action so cut off every connection with naira so her brother couldn't trace them through her.

Flashback ends

Naira - that bastard... Asshole

Naira and Annika hugs while crying with joy. Shivaay shoos away all the employees to their respective work.

Shivaay - What the hell kartik ?

Kartik - Calm down shivaay , it's just two friends catching up.

Shivaay - Is this the way of catching up by making a scene in my office

Kartika facepalms himself and thinks "This guy can't understand"

Kartik - Do you remember I told u about a girl who helped naira to elope from marriage ?

Shivaay - Yeah Kapoor's younger daughter right

Kartik - Yes that one ... That's her

Shivaay - What's kapoor doing in my office ? Why she is here in my office ?

Naira hears all his investigating questions

Naira - Will you shut up and take a deep breath ?

Naira breaks hug from Annika.  Annika comes face to face with Shivaay both were surprised and shocked.

Shivaay was amused to see Annika wearing his office employee tag but as far he knows there is no kapoor working in his office and it only meant she is hiding her identity. He got suspicious of her but suddenly remembered she was living with someone else and those guys told she is their sister. It's interesting what he thought.

Annika knew he was her boss but he didn't wanted to come face to face with him. He knows her identity and she was hoping he won't ask for her resignation , what if he mistake her as someone working for Kapoor's and who would believe that parents ill-treat her.

Kartik and Naira had to shook both of them to return them back from their dream world.

Kartik - Do you guys know each other? Have we missed anything (with a smirk)

Shivaay + Annika - Nothing (in union)

Naira - Oh yeah ,I believe both of you. (With a smirk and a eye contact with kartik )

Shivaay - Let's go then

Naira - Wait ...Where were you going Annika?

Annika - I took half day leave so ...

Before she completes the sentence

Naira - Good ... You are coming with us.

Annika with her eyes wide

Annika - No !!!

Kartik - Why ? You are coming with us and that's final and otherwise we will take you with force. So you decide

Annika - God save me (In mind)

Annika - Ok

Shivaay gets in his car while naira , kartik and Annika in other car .

Naira and Kartik's house

Naira and Annika prepared dinner while boys were playing games with lot of catching up going on both sides. Shivaay understood the relation between Annika and her family while Annika know how badly shivaay was heartbroken but he is doing a good job of hiding it. Annika felt more restless as if something bad is going to happen and she decided to check up on Arnav and Raj.

Naira - Where are you lost ?

Annika with a forced smile - Nothing

Naira and Annika sets up the dining table and was about to serve the food when phone pings with the message . She has set a different tune to alert the message from that group . It was from Raj. As soon she read the message she picked up her stuff and was about to leave

Naira - What's wrong Annika ?

Annika - I am sorry!!! Something came up ,I'll catch up with you later. Say sorry from my side to kartik and my boss.

Naira sensed something is wrong and she wanna force her to say it but can't do that as it seems urgent . Annika doesn't wait to hear Annika and just rushes to leave.

When Kartik and Shivaay reached for dinner,shivaay eyes searched for Annika but he couldn't find her.

Shivaay- Naira ... Where is Annika ?

Naira - She left shivaay , next time I'll make sure you both a candle night dinner (with a grin )

Shivaay eyes widen with shock and looks at Kartik with a question mark asking "Is your wife crazy ?"

Kartik replies with his eyes "Yes"
