This chapter has them switching POV's in the chapter but the next chapter will resume in Ash's POV. By the way, how do y'all like the story so far?

I could tell that everyone was talking about me and Ash. I knew it bothered Ash, bad. She didn't like being the centre of attention and we didn't even know what they were saying. My friends, Ash, and I were in the common room studying, or trying to. James was trying to see how many fountain pens he could shove up his nose after finding their function.

Sirius was trying to touch his tongue to his nose and Peter was laughing, edging them on. I sighed closing my book. Ash was giggling so I decided not to chew them a out about working. Marlene came in through the portrait. "Remus, Ash, I need to talk to you," Marlene said. "Umm okay," I said. I could see Ash was a little scared, probably because she just came bursting in.

We went over to her in the corner of the common room. "Is it true?" She asked. Ash and I exchanged a look. "Is what true?" Ash asked. "Are you two together of course!" She said. I blushed and looked at Ash. "Erm yeah, is that what everyone's whispering about," Ash asked. "Yeah everyone in our year is wondering if you two are dating!" Marlene said excited. "When did you two start dating?" She asked. "During winter break," we said simultaneously. Marlene laughed.

"Well now that that's settled are you two going to be going out publicly?" She asked. Ash gave me a look of nervousness. "Do you want to," I asked Ash. She reluctantly nodded her head. "If you want to," she said. I smiled and grabbed her hand. She smiled back at me and hugged me. I hugged her back and kissed her head. Marlene squealed and clapped her hands. I blushed and Ash buried her head in my chest a little embarrassed. She was so cute when she was embarrassed, scratch that she's always cute.

"Should we get back to 'studying'?" I asked Ash. She nodded letting me go and pulling me to the couch. She sat down and  lightly pulled everything next to her. She held my hand pretty tightly and leaned her head on my shoulder. I was astonished and the other Marauders seemed to be as well.

Ash closed her eyes but she had a big smile on her face. I combed through her hair with my other hand, not that it needed it but her hair was surprisingly soft. Ash seemed to have fallen asleep and I didn't really want to wake her. There wasn't a lot of other students in the common room and I was kind of late. I felt  my eyelids getting heavy and I eventually fell asleep.

Ash's POV
I woke up laying on Remus' shoulder, there was a blanket spread across us. Remus was sleeping so peacefully. Merlin, he looked like an angel! I slowly got up careful not to wake him and snuck into my dorm. I got dressed in my robes for school and went back to the main room. I was about to leave for breakfast but rushed upstairs.

I grabbed a piece of parchment and quickly scribbled a note for Remus. I set it on his lap and left. I loved the smell of spring, I was surprised it was already March and the snow had almost all melted. I made it to the great hall where there were quite a few people. I sat down at the Gryffindor table and began eating scrambled eggs and bacon.

I finished just as more students were coming in. On my way out I ran into some unpleasant company. "Ah well if it isn't the stupid mudblood," said a familiar voice. "Leave me alone Mulciber." I said calmly. "I don't take orders from mudbloods like you," he retorted. "So are the rumors true? Are you dating a Marauder?" He asked.

"Why should you care?" I asked. "Maybe so I can torture him," he smirked. "Don't you dare lay a finger on any of them," I said. "Oh yeah and what are you going to do if I do, huh?" He laughed. By now there was a crowd around us. "I won't say," I replied. "Hey Snape, Avery should we teach this mudblood a lesson?" Mulciber asked. The nodded their heads snickering.

Mulciber pulled his wand out and pointed it at me. "I'm not scared of you," I said, which was a huge lie but I held my head high. "Just leave me alone and we prevent anything from happening," I said calmly. "Ha she thinks she can get away with confronting me," Mulciber laughed. Merlin he was horrible.
