The next day was classed as a dance day, so Castiel, Matt and Sherlock walked into school wearing loose white tank top and tight black leggings, they had their ballet shoes in their hands and converse on their feet. He looked across the courtyard again, his eyes searching for the green ones of his secret boyfriend. Once their eyes locked Cas smiled and Dean winked, Cas felt a little nag at his chest as Lisa was clinging to Dean arm but instead of feeling sad he ran his eyes over Dean's body, today he was wearing black skinny jeans, a black t-shirt and black shoes, a black cap sat on his head, and being who he was his hat was backwards. Dean turned his attention back to the brunette clinging on his arm and Cas turned back to the school and headed straight to the ballet studio. Dean's crew soon made their way to their studio and immediately the teacher decides to have a girl v boy dance off. The girls went first Lisa up front, Charlie and Sarah behind her, on either side of her, the rest of the girls arranged behind them. (1) Throughout their dance Lisa was staring at Dean, smiling seductively. In the studio next door, which coincidently was the ballet studio, they were warming up too but as they were ballet dancers their warm up was different, they were leaping gracefully across the room, doing splits and pirouettes, the most graceful of them all being Castiel, Matt and Sherlock. Castiel of course was watching the hip-hop dancers in the studio next to his, he watched as his boyfriend and the rest of the boys in his crew arranged themselves behind their lead dancer. It was Cas' turn to leap across the studio as the boys started to dance. (2) Cas watched intently after he had made it across the studio, Dean winked at Cas as he finished the dance and got called over to tell the rest of his crew what dance they we doing next, (3 imagine them all merged together).
"Ok guys. We need our best dancers front and centre please!" The ballet teacher called, immediately Castiel and Sherlock made their way to the teacher. "Have you two been practicing?" Cas and Sherlock nodded. "Ok then lets see it!" The teacher turned to the stereo enthusiastically and turned on the music for the two boys' dance. (4 Cas is the girl, Sherlock is the boy) In the hip-hop studio Dean watched as Cas and Sherlock started to dance, jealousy bubbled up in his chest as he and his crew started their own dance (3). Both studios kept dancing until the lunch bell went both learning new dances for the up-coming competition. As they were walking to the lunch hall, Dean caught Cas' eye and mouthed 'bleachers' then younger boy nodded discreetly. Matt and Sherlock walked to their club hand in hand and Cas walked to the bleachers. He saw a figure behind then and looked around them, he saw Dean looking at the floor sadly.
"Hello Dean." Castiel said softly, Dean looked up and smiled brightly.
"Hey Baby" Dean said a little dejectedly.
"Dean? What's wrong?" Cas asked wrapping his arms around Dean.
"Nothing, nothing baby don't worry." Dean said turning in Cas' arms and melting into Cas' embrace, curling his arms around the smaller boy.
"No Dean. What's up?" Castiel asked pulling back slightly to look at Dean.
"No it's stupid." Dean said looking away from Cas. Castiel raised his eyebrow at Dean, because he knew something was up. "I just saw you and Sherlock dancing earlier and I got jealous ok?" Dean said a blush rising up his neck. Cas just laughed, more of a giggle but there's no way he's gonna call it that.
"Dean... You know Sherlock has got a boyfriend right?" Castiel laughed, Dean looked at Cas confused and shook his head. "He's Matt's boyfriend!" Castiel said laughing his head off.
"What?" Dean asked still majorly confused.
"Sherlock is Matt's boyfriend." Castiel said trying to stop laughing.
"Why was he dancing with you like that instead of Matt then?" Dean said quietly.
"Because we are the 'best' ballet dancers." Cas said putting his hand on Dean's jaw.
"Oh! Errr..." Dean said embarressed. Cas smiled.
"It's nice to know you care Dean." Cas said.
"They don't like me do they?" Dean said looking into Cas' eyes.
"They just think you're going to hurt me..." Cas said carefully.
"Does my crew hurt you?" Dean asked seriously.
"Dean..." Castiel said hesitantly, looking off to the side. Dean grabbed Cas' jaw and pulled his face around so Cas had no choice but to look at Dean.
"Cas, baby, tell me." Dean said looking into Cas' eyes, loosening his grip slightly when Cas flinched.
"They come and find me at lunch, and they... beat me up where no one can see." Castiel said slowly.
"When?" Dean asked, urgency laced his tone.
"D... Dance days..." Cas said, his eyes widening in realisation. "Dean you have to go they'll be here soon." Cas said quickly. Dean looked up at him shocked, he tried to speak up Cas was already pushing him away. Dean hid round the side of the bleachers waiting for them to show up. Cas watched scared as Lisa, Carmen, Benny, Alastair, Meg and Crowley rounded the corner, to his surprised Sam followed close behind, looking somewhat distressed.
"Hey Novak! How ya doing?!" Lisa yelled in his face. The others laughed... Sam didn't laugh, only looked around nervously.
"Guys we shouldn't be here!" Sam whispered.
"Yeah and why not Sammy?" Meg asked sneering at the tall boy. Sam glared at her before answering;
"Because what if Dean turns up and finds out, he likes the ballet dancers." Sam said nervously, he had to say at school he was scared of his brother.
"What you scared of your brother?" Lisa taunted.
"Yeah and you should be too! He's the top rank in the school!" Sam hissed looking around again.
"Can we get to the gay bitch over there please and move on from Winchester?" Crowley asked gesturing to Cas, who was casually watching the scene play out in front of him. All agreed and turned towards Cas, Sam held back still wary. Just as Alastair stepped forward to take the first punch Dean stepped around the corner.
"Sammy's right you know, you should be scared of me. Also Crowley you should show me some respect... You all should! Next time listen to my brother he knows what he's saying! Now fuck off! All of you." Dean looked at the three boys and three girls that had intended to hurt Cas, mostly so Sam knew to stay. They ran off without looking back.
"Thanks Dean." Cas said looking at Dean awestruck.
"S'ok Dean... I know." Sam said quietly. Dean looked at his brother surprised.
"Come on! You don't hide it well... Not to me anyway. I like him Dean, take care of him." Sam said then he walked off to the lunch hall. Dean turned to Cas.
"Baby I'm sorry I never stopped it before I didn't know." Dean said pleadingly, wrappping his arms around Cas' waist.
"It's fine Dean." Cas said looking up at Dean. "Do you wanna come and meet my family tonight?" Castiel asked Dean smiled lightly then nodded.
"Sure... I'd love to." Dean replied.
