CHAPTER 4

I get back to my apartment after filming all day when I hear a knock at the door. When I open it I'm faced with Maddie and madison. "Ellie that scene was so hot" "Maddie's right that was like amazing. You guys look like you've done it many times before. And girl the way he looks at you" "guys were best friends there's nothing there, he looks at me like we're best friends we're just acting ya know". Maddie and madison exchange glances at my claim. "El have you ever had feelings for drew" Maddie questions. "I mean when we were younger ya I guess. My first memory with drew is my fifth birthday party and he proposed to me with a ring pop because he always heard our parents talking about how we were getting married one day so he thought he had to. I was deeply in love with him from that day until I got my first boyfriend. Which the only reason I got a boyfriend and pushed my feelings for drew away was because he got a girlfriend a week after we lost our virginity to each other." "The whole birthday party thing is adorable but I'm sorry about him getting a girlfriend El" "ya it's whatever I mean I'm glad I stopped having feelings towards him before it could ruin our friendship you know." Having this conversation with the girls is what I really needed surprisingly. Growing up it's always been me and drew, like obviously we have had other friends but we were the only person the other fully trusted with everything. I talked to drew about all of my boy problems except for the problems that came with being in love with him. After a couple more hours of deep conversations the girls left my apartment as I slowly drifted into a deep sleep.

I woke up to the smell of bacon which is a little odd considering I live by myself. I got up out of bed and walked to the kitchen and I see drew making breakfast. "Hello sleepyhead" he says with a chuckle. "drew how did you get in and why." "Well considering you gave me a key that's how I got in, but also my stove broke so I decided to come make breakfast for us here" "aww so sweet of you drewby" I walk over to him and reach up to ruffle his hair. Drew and I start eating and we talk about how life has been since we've both been fairly busy lately. "Some girl asked me out the other day in a coffee shop. She was pretty cute but I thought it was kinda weird" for some reason as he says this my heart drops and I feel my body get hot of anger and jealousy. "Oh um that's nice, what did you say" I was praying and pleading that he said no. " I um said yes. I mean I haven't been out with a girl in a while so why not get back in the game" he says with a light laugh. " ya that's true uh I have to go um to Maddie's she said she needs to tell me something. You can stay here if you want I guess" " okay I'll just clean up" " ok bye"

As soon as I exit my apartment I feel hot tears start to form in my eyes. I know I have a soft spot for drew I mean he was my first love I always will have a special place for him but I haven't felt this way since he got his first girlfriend. I knock on Maddie's door and I see her chase madison and Rudy sitting on the couch staring at me with widened eyes as they notice the tears pouring out. Maddie gets up and walks over to me "baby what's wrong don't cry" she gives me a look filled with sympathy. "He's going on a date and I don't know why I'm so upset I mean it's not like I like him or anything anymore." I say while wiping my tears and noticing chase and Rudy with looks of confusion on their faces. I walk over to the couch and sit next to rudy as he puts his arm around me and lets me cuddle into him. Since I've gotten here rudy and I have gotten really close we have a very flirty friendship I guess you could say. He hugged me and plants a kiss on the top of my head in attempt to try and comfort me in my vulnerable state. I tell them what happened and how I have no clue why I feel this way. "How about i take you out and we show drew what he's missing out on" Rudy says. Rudy chase Austin and Jd always say that drew is head over heels for me but I find it really hard to believe considering he is literally going on a date with another girl. I thought to myself and decided going on a date with rudy wouldn't be bad considering he's one of my close friends, we always are flirting and he is extremely attractive. "Let's do it" Rudy and I come up with plans and he tells me that he's gonna tell drew how he "feels" about me and tell him he asked me on a date. Operation see if drew gets jealous is on.
