«Arden's POV»

The car ride was miserable

Connor tried to console me as David

sang Raven Simmone songs.

"So he just left? " I asked

"I wasn't going to tell you till we got home but-"

Connor didn't want to say anything but I wanted to know.

"He was missing Bianca and then he left with her." Connor muttered

"Fuck him" David blurted

" wow" is all I could say

I know I shouldn't be upset it was the first date.

So I didn't stress over it and I wasn't going to take it out on him.

Once I got home and I took a shower. It was a Friday night so I asked if Julia wanted to come over. Obviously being the best friend she is and wanting to know every detail she rushed over.

I put on a school sweatshirt and some pajama shorts and made some tea.

Within 10 minute  Julia was here in almost the same outfit as I.

She lived in walking distance that was the reason we always hung out.

" You look upset" that was the first thing Julia said

I wasn't upset I was confused. After I told her all the details

I could tell she was planning a scheme to have revenge on Ashton and Bianca.

I told her not to. And then I got a phone call.

I walked to my backyard porch swing and answered the call after 4 rings.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's Ashton"

"Oh,hi"

" I am sorry about the date, and Bianca- "

I cut him off

" Its cool, it was the first date, I have nothing to be upset over" I calmly said.

We trailed off into what turned into a cool conversation

I was stunned when I saw Julia standing at the door almost falling asleep.

Did I really take that long?

" it's getting pretty late I should go to bed." I told him.

" okay, will we have a better date next time?" He questioned

" yes " I said and hung up.

I opened the door which caused Julia to fall right on her face.

" OW " she let out.

I was filled with laughter. She ended up staying the night.

We talked about going out tomorrow maybe to a party or just to the beach.

I went to the beach daily because it was 15 minutes away.

I got my excersize riding my bike there.

I dreamt about the cool night sand and the waves crashing to meet my feet.
