Arranged Marriage

CHAPTER 3

I woke up from my sleep because i was unable to sleep. I went out of my room and went down to get a drink. Just as i was about to go back to my room i heard Rowell sighing and grumbling by himself.

His light was still on, I could hear him cursing and papers flipping 

I opened the door and peeked inside i saw Rowell at his desk with a pile of papers and his laptop open.

I watch him struggle through it

"it's your time to shine Victoria! You have to make him lose the bet! You can't lose!" you thought to myself.

You knocked on the door and entered his room.

" you're still up?" he asked me

"yeah. I couldn't sleep" i said

i went beside him and looked at his pile of papers 

"what are you doing" i asked him

" the company's finance is falling .we have problems that semms to never end" he explained to me

I leaned against is desk and faced him who was sitting on his chair

I might not be running a company but i did receive several education on it

I looked through one of the problems that was sent by one of the managers.

This problem talk about the amount of wasted products that we less sales as of this year

"Why don't we just recycle the products and launch a new 'go green' product to attract the customers? The trend at the moment is recycled use. So we could increase sales as well as put use to the waste products" i suggested to him as he read the paper.

"that's a good idea.I didn't think about that, how did you learn to think like that?" he asked me

I smiled at him and chuckled 

"we have the same education Rowell" i reminded him

"right. how about this?" he asked me

That night, we went through the papers together. We had played around here and there but we finished the papers around 4 hours

I looked at the time and it was a litte pass 1am

We tidied up and had a litte chat

"why did you agree to the marriage?" Rowell asked me

I sighed " because that's what i had to do. Keep to responsibilities . i kind of knew it was gonna happen one day" i admitted

"you did?" he asked a bit shocked

"well, yeah. It's only normal for us to fall into this situation. Just make use of it i guess" i said

We keep quiet after that I looked at Rowell and he was staring at me with eyes i have not seen before.

i saw a new side of Rowell and that made me smile

"it's getting late . we better sleep" i said 

I quickly go back to my room and I looked the door, i slid down the door and felt my heart beat fast

I tried to slow it down by breathing slowly in and out

Visions of his expressions and face came up

He looked so cute

NO! no. Don't fall for it!

Aghh!!

A couple of days, me and Rowell attended our first banquet together
