Arranged Marriage

CHAPTER 2

Last night i couldn't sleep well, i kept thinking about the bet.

It took my energy and i ended up falling asleep in the middle of thinking.

When i woke up, it was already 11:30 am

"ahhh i missed breakfast" was all i thought

I know most people would freak out because they forgot plans and stuff when they wake up late but im just sad i missed breakfast.

As i sat up in bed, i heard my stomach grumble from hunger.

I sighed and went downstairs in my long night gown.

I love wearing night gowns when i got to sleep because they feel loose and light.

I looked through the kitchen and see what i could cook for my breakfast along with my lunch.

I saw some chicken breast and immediately remembered that i wanted to try a new recepie for a long time

It was the spicy soy sauce chicken. I brought out everything i needed and strated cooking.

While i was cooking, i felt a pair of arms wrapping around my waist.

I push him off of me and he stumbled back 

"woah. Your'e so rough" he said sounding  bit shocked

"well, the more you know" i replied 

" dont play foul. Dont touch me!" i warned him

"how was that foul,come on" he debated

"Dont .touch. me" i said making sure it was clear

"Fine fine" he raised his arms signs in defeat

" good" i checked the rice cooker and i see that the rice is cooked. i lifted the lid so that the hot steam would escape.

"why are you even stilll here. Dont you have work?" i asked him

"it holiday idiot" he said to me as he sat down in the table

"ohh right" i face palmed myself for forgetting.    

i put the food on the table and went to take a bowl of rice

"where's mine?" he asked 

" get it yourself" i told him

"get it for me" he ordered me

"no" i said as i took a piece of cut chicken with its sauce and place it in my bowl

Suddenly, before i could eat, Rowell took my bowl from my hands and started eating.

"HEY!!" i shouted

he just continued eating and i graled at him before getting up to take another bowl of rice

"eat slowly! Your'e going to finish all the food!" i told him

I sat down and started eating before he finishes everything

Rowell eats so much its crazy! i eat a typical more than other girls but Rowell eats twice more than James! And James eats ALOT

After bruch, i cleaned up and went to my room 

just i was going up, the doorbell rang. I open the door and saw Diana in her usual short outfit.

"what do you want?" i told her

she pushed pass me and made herself comfortable

Ugh!

I cloesd the door and Rowell came up

"Rowiee~ i missed you. you hadn't contacted me since yesterday~" Diana trying to act cute get me disgusted

Trying to avoid this situation, i got up and walked to my room

Just as i was my thoughts, my phone made a sound to say that i got a message 

I took my phone from the night stand and unlocked it

James had messaged me asking me if i want to hang out with him and he had something to say to me.

I agreed to him and got off my bed to get ready

when i done preparing myself i took my bag and went down stairs.

Just as i was puuting my shoes on, Rowell came up to me

"where are you going?" he asked

"none of your business" i told him

I got out before he could say anything and met with James at the cafe

Me and James were friends since collage

We are pretty close and probably the only male friend that i'm close to

We decided to take a walk in the park and catch up on each other

I spent time with James when suddenly Rowell text me that our parents are coming to visit and i quickly went back home.

I prepared the table and i insisted for them to eat some dinner

During dinner , they started talking.

"so how are you getting along?" Rowell's mum asked

"fine actually we're just bit busy that's all" i replied to her acting like everything was perfect

"ohh right .of course.You're getting used to the married life. how are you health?" my mum asked

"we're quite healthy" Rowell answered her

Our mums smile widened and i see our fathers becoming a bit uncomfortable

Why?Did i say something wrong?

"well since it's been a month already, we were thinking about our grandchildren" they asked

I choked on food and had to gulp down water.

Me and Rowell looked each other and i see he smirk 

"well. We think that it's-" i was about to turn them down until Rowell cut me off

"we're working on it mum" Rowell said

I looked at him in disbelieve. He winked at me

AGHHH! i will kill this idiot!

"REALLY?!!" our parent's squealed in excitment

"THAT"S GREAT!!" our parent's said

"Make sure you take lots of vitamins Victoria! You must be healthy to get a healthy baby!" Rowell's mum said

"Dont forget to eat your meals. Dont skip any of it" my mum said

" well, that's done . We're going now .We'll be waiting for good news!" my mum cheered us and they left.

I was about to go up to my room until Rowell grabbed me

"what?" i asked him 

"we're suppose to be producing remember?" he asked 

Oh shit

"ewww. no. not with me." i told him

I got him off but he held onto me again

"come on. we don't want them to feel sad.They're waiting for one so we have to grant them their wish" Rowell said

" No Rowell. get off" i said pushing his arms away and running into my room and locking the door 

I heard his door close and i calmed down and fall asleep
