"................." Speechless...

Yet seemingly unbothered, as if he had no emotional attachment as he stood there upon the edge of a cliff at the top of a hill allowing him to watch everything that had taken place. Though a bit curious as to what fell from the sky during the freak thunderstorm, he decided to wait awhile before checking it out. Thus he turned his back to the view and walked off heading into a cave, disappearing into the darkness.

A few hours later Tsukihana awoke, a bit dazed and vision slightly blurry but she could feel the odd warm and wet sensation of Seizon's tongue licking her cheeks. Slowly, she begun to sit up and notices the warm, green glow upon her chest from the emerald of the chain Seizon placed around her neck while she was sleeping. The glow stopped once her vision became clear, her wounds partially healed but nothing critical or broken. However, she at this point is very weak and almost completely drained of her godly gifts. Gradually she stood up and looked around her, small fires still burning, smoke all around, bits of buildings still crumbling and falling but what stood out the most was the thick stench of burned bodies. This caused her to bend forward and throw-up uncontrollably, stumbling back a bit but she caught her balance and stood up. She tried walking forward after wiping her mouth, then she stumbles falling forward but before she could fall flat on her face, Seizon in it's beastly transformation caught her on it's back. She smiles, petting him as if thanking him for a bit before using what little strength she had to pull herself up onto it's back laying down and held on while it climbed out of the crater.

Seizon begun jogging a bit while being careful not to let Tsukihana fall, but what he couldn't protect her from was the sight of some burnt corpse which showed what some of them were doing in their final moments, like what could be interpreted as a couple kissing, a parent holding their three children tightly or just those who died in agony begging for the sweet release of death as the fire burns their life dry. Tsukihana's grip on Seizon's fur tightens as she sobs and weeps not just from what she's seen but the guilt she has put on herself, blaming herself for this despite knowing this was bound to happen regardless and the helpless feeling of being unable to protect them or even save one person from this massacre. It was at this point, she finally broke and caved in as it was all too much for her to hold in anymore and thus she screamed out, a scream that resounded throughout the now silent ruins of this once beautiful city. If her voice carried the power of life, this cry would raise the millions who have died throughout this nation. Eyes darting open from a deep sleep, the young male rose his left hand wiping his cheeks realizing he was crying in his sleep, then his right hand grips his shirt at his chest area as his heart beats fast. He then grits his teeth and sits up, hair falls down into his face covering his eyes as he tries to calm himself down.. "Kyo..." A voice called out to him resounding in his head causing him to look to his right side at the fox sitting there looking at him. "Seems you heard it.. That scream came from the city. Maybe someone survived, or probably they're what fell from the sky." The fox spoke to him telepathically as it rose it's front left paw scratching it's cheek. Kyohi-suru then sighs as he's now calm and collected "I see...." he replies as he was caught up in the moment a bit in his mind, as he couldn't remember the last time he shed tears. "Tsk.." Kyohi-suru now upset because he was forced to feel, but then he turned laying down, his back turned to the fox as he tries to go back to sleep.

Meanwhile Tsukihana and Seizon finally made it to the west gate entrance to the city. Seizon continued to jog, going into the woods just trying to get Tsukihana as far away as possible from the city. It was the only thing he could do at this point while she continues to cry upon his back but her aching screams went silent, turning into deep broken weeps.

Moments later, Seizon slows down panting a bit as he begun to walk to catch his breath. They were now miles away from the scene and at the foot of a hill, finally able to breathe fresh air. At this point, Tsukihana had stopped crying, or maybe she just ran out of tears but whatever the reason was, she was clearly a mess now. Seizon tried speaking to her but all he got back in replies were inaudible sounds, grunts and groans. He slowly walks over to a tree and laid down, still with Tsukihana latched unto his back as he decided to join her and get some sleep..

Maybe this was all a dream and everything will be fine tomorrow...

Hopefully..
