We were standing alone. Our bond stronger than no other. We would stand, we would play, we would talk for hours. We could go on for forever. Happy, happy. We were happy happy.

But then, one day, you went away. I never knew why. Was I not enough? Who was keeping you away? Now I stand here, alone. Lonely, and confused, and wondering why. Why you had gone.

We had played for hours, staying together, like birds of a feather. We would write, we would sing, we would dance, we would laugh for hours. We could go on forever. Happy, happy. We were happy happy.

But then, one day, you went away. I never knew why. Was I not enough? Who was keeping you away? Now I stand here, alone. Lonely and broken, and wondering why. Why you had gone.

We would sit together, your head on my shoulder, eyes glued to my phone. Playing together, following each other, laughing forever, joking for hours. We could go on for forever. Happy, happy. We were happy happy.

But now. Now I wonder. Will you leave, like the others, or will you stay? Will I ever be enough? Is no one keeping you away? We stand here, our hands together. Happy and laughing, and hoping. Hoping we never leave.
