"What the fuck shitty hair?! If you'd stop hogging all the yarn, I'd be done with this stupid hat!", Bakugou glared at his boyfriend as he failed to snatch the materials away.
Kirishima sighed as he wrapped the yarn around his finger for the hundredth time, "You literally started knitting yesterday because I told you about the surprise.."
The warm red hue filled Bakugou's cheeks as he chose to blissfully ignore the snide remark. They had to finish before she teetered in from work in the morning. His bouncing leg, no help when dealing with their impending timeline.
Kirishima sighed, stopping the fluid motion. He set the unfinished scarf to the side before shuffling through the box of discarded yarn, "Come here.".
Bakugou's eyebrow twitched and his tongue was ready to throw the words from his mouth, but the strong arm pulling him into Kirishima's lap gave him no room to object.
"This way we can alternate the colors and neither of us will hog it when the other needs it. Let me show you how to add a new one.", Kirishima gently tied the orange yarn into the black before continuing Bakugou's set pattern.
He had to admit, he was surprised how easily they both picked it up. Then again, precision was Bakugou's thing. He could also see his boyfriend's shoulders relax whenever he really got into it, and the next thing you know, he would look serene. Almost as if he were in deep thought about something.
"Give me that.", Bakugou's fingers trembled slightly as he took the materials back and continued the pattern. He could feel Kirishima's heavy gaze watch every movement he made. It almost felt hard to breath, but he quickly relaxed into his boyfriend's arms, "...Th-Thanks for...ya know. Teaching me this in the first place.".
Kirishima's ears perked up and the hot tint spread across his cheeks. He buried his face in Bakugou's neck and squeezed him into an even tighter hug, "When did you become so cute?!".
Bakugou leaned into the hug and peppering kisses, refusing to look at Kirishima, "Shut up...". He wanted to close his eyes and relish in the warmth. Looking at the half finished hat in his hands, he remembered that warmth too.

Nao held her hands over her ears as she teetered along the road, "Winter came too soon! Bring back the flowers! Wait, no! Make it fall forever!".
"Stop complaining you damned brat! I told you to take a hat and scarf with you this morning!", Bakugou snapped while securing his hat over her head.
"Sadly, they are at my apartment. Ya know, the one you refuse to let me go back to?", Nao pulled the hat over her ears forcing the curls down along with it. She clasped her hands in a last ditch effort for some semblance of warmth.
Bakugou rolled his eyes burying his face further into the jacket, "It's not my fault you just so happen to get off when one of us gets off patrol. You think I'm going to let you walk home alone in the dead hours of the morning?".
"Don't mind him. He just doesn't want to admit he likes you always being around him. You'd think he was a cat, but he's actually a really big puppy that loves to be cuddled constantly..", Kirishima slowed his pace holding his hand towards the pouting girl, "Here, hold my hands. I'm a natural heater remember?".
Nao happily obliged, sticking her tongue towards Bakugo who set off irritated sparks in his palms.
Kirishima removed his other hand from his pocket holding it towards Bakugo, "Now, now. Don't get
jealous. I have two hands!"."I'd rather die!"

Kirishima laughed to himself as he felt the warm tint spread across his cheeks, and looked at the finished scarf. It kind of reminded him that like the scarf, their love needed time to be carefully stitched one by one. In the end, they were left with something warm and beautiful.
