"moooom" I groaned closing the car door, she embarrasses me so much sometimes ..
I had music first, I love music but I'm always teased for apparently being a music nerd, it's not my fault I'm good at it.. there's only one other person in my class as good as music as I am, I don't know his name, he's not very smart in other subjects, I only know he's good at it because the teacher gave me and him and the guy's mate a note about a meeting that the three of us attended about doing GCSE music because we're the top three in our year.
It was break time now and I was sitting against a wall in the playground with my friend Kyle.
"Dude. Dude no way!" Kyle tapped my shoulder repeatedly.
"What? WHAT?!"
"Aleisha McDonald.. she's coming this way!"
I've had a crush on Aleisha for ages and Kyle knows that, she's also one of the most popular girls in school.. and she's heading this way with her friend Kit!
"Hey, Luke, right?" Her voice was so sweet, it was like music to my ears!
"Uh.. um.. I- er" why couldn't I answer her? She's just so pretty..
"Yeah, that's Luke. Aleisha right?" Kyle saved me.
"Yeah so um.. Luke?"
"Yes, Aleisha?"
"I found your YouTube channel.."
Oh no.. oh god! She's gonna think I'm so lame now!
"Oh.. y-you did? What um.. What'd you think?"
"You're a really great singer, we should hang out some time." she smiled and walked away with Kit.
"Dude this is huge!" Kyle was stoked!
"What? She just wants to hang out."
"It's ALEISHA MCDONALD, man!! If you hang out with her and it goes well she might actually like you!"
"I dunno, dude."
"What if she wants to sing a duet!!"
Kyle knows exactly how to get me on board, he knows how seriously I take my music and Aleisha is an amazing singer! Maybe someday I'll get lucky enough to be her boyfriend..
No way.. I'm in way over my head.. right?
No girl would ever go for a guy like me.. right?
