Chapter5⃣

Alex POV
I follow awkwardly behind her. "Hi" I wave shyly.
"Hey Maddie. Who's this?" She looks at me strangely.
"This is my friend Alex. Alex this is Demi."
"Are you a lovatic who's gonna use my sister for fame?"
I have no clue what she's talking about. I just look at her confusedly.
"Relax Demi. She didn't even know who you were 5 min ago, she thought you were a model"
Demi chuckled.
I finally decided to speak up.
"What's so funny about her being a model" I asked.
She looked down at me and said. "I wasn't secure about my body and I had an eating disorder. I never felt pretty enough to be a model"
My jaw dropped.

Demi POV
For some reason I was in a really bitchy mood today. "Close your mouth or you'll catch flys." I basically order her. I glare at her.
"Dinner!" Mom called.
"Coming!" We all said in together.

Alex POV
How am I supposed to get out of dinner? I thought.
I was snapped out of my thoughts by Demi, who looked at me and said "your already fat enough. You better not eat dinner" I nodded.

Demi POV
I have no clue why I said that. I feel bad but yet I can't bring myself out of this bitchy mood. When we sat down I noticed that Alex didn't eat anything. "Aren't you going to eat something?" I ask gently.
And as I thought she shook her head.
"Come on please" She just shook her head stubbornly
"Fine. It's not like you need the extra calories." I know it's not true. She is SUPER skinny and does need the calories, but whatever. I'll talk to her later.

After dinner as Maddie and Alex were going to her room. I asked Alex if I could talk to her. She looked scared. I wonder why.
"S-sure" she stuttered
"Why didn't you eat dinner?" I asked
"Because you told me not too" she responded smart alicy
"Yeah, but then I told you to"
She looked down at the ground. I don't know what happened but I slapped her. She looked up at me shocked. Then ran away.

Alex POV
That bitch just slapped me!
I ran to Maddie. "Maddie!" I sobbed.
"What happened?"
"Demi slapped me"
"No she didn't! Your lying!" Maddie punched me in the stomach. So much for new friends. I ran out the door and I was about to leave when Eddie stopped me. He lifted me up and placed me on the couch and gave me and ice pack.
"DEMETRIA DEVONNE LOVATO AND MADDISON LEE DE LA GARZA"
"Coming!!!!!"
