"Wha-at? Where am I?"
When Ella woke up, she realised she wasn't in the hospital.
"But I should have died? I thought the car killed me?"
Remembering back to the accident she just had. Ella had just got off work when as she was crossing, a crazy driver crashed into her. She remembered being on the ground, as people surrounded her panicking. The last thing she heard was ambulance sirens.
"But where am I now?" Ella asked herself.
Looking at the room she was in, it was a small, cozy room filled with wooden furniture. A round window was on her left and as she peered out, she saw a lush green field.
[Did I die and get reincarnated? Or have I transmigrated? Holy shit, this actually exists?!] She thought.
Then the door opened.
"Oh, my precious, Ella!" A young woman rushed to her, giving her a crushing hug.
"Don't you ever do that again! I told you to be careful when collecting the eggs!" The woman, eyes teary held her face.
"Are you okay, baby?" She asked.
"I'm okay. But, I'm really sorry. Who are you?" Ella asked sheepishly.
"Oh, my baby's forgotten! I'm your mother. I must call the healer right away!"
"Wait! No, mum! It's okay. Just please tell me who I am. I think my head's a bit muddled." Ella panicked. [I need to act natural since I have no idea who I am.]
"Okay." Her mother took a deep breath, rubbing her tears off.
"You're name is Ella Deon. You're seventeen right now. My name is Sophie Deon, your mother. Your father, Maxwell Deon, unfortunately, passed during the war, he was a soldier you see. Right now, we live in the town of Greenfield and you help me grow fruits and vegetables to sell at the market."
"Ella...Deon?"
"Yes, honey. Your name is Ella Deon." Her mother smiled.
