They raised a tent outside the village and said someone very important was residing inside the tent. The Goliath, the Blood-Elf, and the Kitsune were all given some food and a place to sleep in as thanks for helping the villagers. It was only a day after the fight was over, that they were summoned to the mysterious tent. As they entered, they saw a young adult female, with a dress in the color of deep crimson blood and golden blonde hair, a bit darker than the elf's hair.
"Welcome to the Alfong Union warriors, please act formally as you are in the presence of Felicia, the crimson princess," said the man who opened the tent. He was a kitsune, with a scar on his face and grey hair though one of his ears black. When he opened his eyes, one eye was pale blue while one was bright dazzling gold. "And who are you?" the Goliath asked as he entered the tent, trying to fit his height inside. "My name is Zest, I am the personal guard of the princess, and leader of the royal guard," he said while showing them inside. "I never heard of a kitsune in a military position," said the kitsune female walking behind the Goliath. "Life is about adapting and circumstances. Life made me get in this position. And if life wants it, it will remove me from it"
"Before I say anything else, I want to thank you for helping the soldiers saving the village. We would probably be too late if not for you three. Now please explain to me, how do a sorcerer, a Goliath, and a wizard manage to appear all at the same random place? sorcerers have gone extinct, Goliaths live strictly in the mountain after the events of 200 years ago and wizards became a class taught only to the nobles and rich. If you want to speak, please also state your name"
"My name is Jen, and I do not know how we appeared here. I woke up in the smoke near these two, and all we tried to do was survive and help the villagers. I cannot remember anything else from before that" The Goliath and Blood-elf nodded in agreement as Jen finished her story. "I would like to hear your names as well," said Felicia. "My name is Maevith, and like Jen, I too do not know how I reached that fire" The blood-elf took her hood off and spoke up. "My name is Vivian, like Jen and Maevith, I cannot recall my memories or where I obtained the knowledge of a wizard". The princess looked in interests at the blood elf's emerald eyes, but suddenly called upon one of her men. "bring me the ointment," she told him. He quickly left and brought back a small bottle filled with an unknown blue substance.
"bring your hands forth" she rose from her chair, opening the mysterious bottle. Jen, Maevith, and Vivian all put their hands open towards the princess, as she put a few drops from the bottle on each of their palms. it took a few seconds, but suddenly Maevith could swear his palm was burning. "Aaah" he shouted as he fell on his knee. "what have you done to me?". she looked at him kneeling "just wait a few moments the pain will be over. I'm interested in seeing your result. Maevith shouted in pain for a few more seconds in a rage that could be heard all over the village, until finally, he settled down. "now turn your hand around" said zest calmly. Maevith turned his hand and saw something very particular. he saw some kind of emblem on his hand. "what is this?" he looked at the princess for answers. He didn't notice but Jen and Vivian had been through the same process as well, yet they all had different emblems on one another. The princess walked towards Vivian first, and grabbed her hand, inspecting it. She stepped back, shocked at what she saw "I cannot believe this". She grabbed her arm again and inspected it. She then went through the crests of Maevith and Jen as well. "I cannot believe it. three true crests. this is unreal" she looked back at zest and his men. "You must summon the council of Elements. As quickly as possible". She looked both excited and terrified at the same time. She looked back at Maevith and Jen. "Do you have no idea what this means? a true crest?" Maevith, Jen and Vivian were all confused. They had no idea what was going and what a "true crest" was. "Let me explain" Felicia sat on her throne again and explained. "crests are the system of nobility in Fernina. All royal families except for the recent Blackthorn family in the desert have a "major crest". The scaling is from minor, regular, major, and true. Minor and regular belong to nobility and sometimes people of status like generals. Major relates to the royal families. A "true crest" refers to either a direct descendant or reincarnation of one of the original crest heroes. The warriors who saved Fernina from the void once before in ancient legends. The council I have asked Zest to gather is of all major crests bearers in Fernina. we cannot let the appearance of three true crests randomly go unnoticed and undiscussed. For now, I will take you to the capital, and provide you with equipment and a place to stay. Follow me" she said as she walked towards the exit of the tent behind her...
