5|tutoring

Serena knocked on the door, her stomach growling despite her eating an hour ago.The door opened and a wave of heat smashed her in the face.Brownies.
Lilly Evans-Potter smiled at the girl and Serena noticed how she looks only a bit older than herself and reminded herself that both her and her mother had her and Harry pretty early.
"Hi, Serena!"she greeted and Serena didn't have time to return the smile properly as she was almost shoved into the house.

It was ten o'clock in the morning but both Serena and Harry agreed it was better to have the tutoring sessions in the mornings.

Professor Lupin was at the stove of the open spaced kitchen cooking something Serena couldn't see but it smelled deliciously like an omelette.
"Good morning, professor Lupin!"Serena greeted trying to ignore her sleepiness.
"Morning."Professor Lupin replied with a half-smile.He was probably just as tired as her.
"Harry! Serena is here !"Lily shouted across the hall.
A door creaked open and down the stairs came a very sleepy Harry.

"My God.He takes just after his father they both sleep until lunch unless someone wakes them up."Lily complained to me making Serena bite her lip  not to laugh.
"Serena!Hi.We could go to my room ?I have a table there."Harry explained more like mumbled but Serena just nodded and gave Lily and Lupin a quick smile before following Harry up the stairs.

Sirius opened his eyes and cursed at himself for not closing the drapes before going to bed.He grabbed the clock on his nightstand and groaned.

"Who is up at bloody 10:00 during the summer?"he mumbled as the clock thumped on the nightstand.
He rolled over to get a few minutes of sleep in plus until the door to Harry's room creaked open and then shut.Then the door to the Potters' bedroom opened and a pair of rapid footsteps approached.
Sirius opened his eyes wide open.
"Serena's here."

The door to his bedroom was opened and a frantic James Potter entered the bedroom.
"Sirius !"he whispered with desperation playing in his eyes."Get your ass up!Your niece is here."
"My niece is there with your son."Sirius rasped rolling back over his hair falling on her face.
"Exactly! I know it's only a tutoring session and all but this is the first time he's bringing a girl home that isn't Hermione!"James kept whispering but it still ruined Sirius' sleep.

"Let's get downstairs so your wife can deal with you.I told her after the wedding that legally you are her problem and not mine, not anymore."Sirius replied getting up and pushing his best friend to walk downstairs.

"You two ladies are up?"Lily asked with a smug smile.
"I cannot believe you let them go alone in Harry's bedroom!"James instead said making Lily smile at him a bit.
"Honey they are barely 15 I think they are old enough to not need a chaperone.Don't you trust your own son?"

"If he's anything like me with girl , then no."James replied making Lily raise her eyebrows.
"And how were you with girls?Because if I remember correctly it took you how many years for me to go out with you?"
"Got you there, Prongs."Remus smirked and then handed Sirius a cup of coffee.
"Okay fine I'll try to relax."James said defeated and plopped at the table.

"This makes sense."Serena mumbled after Harry explained for the fifth time a simple charm making her feel stupid."I'm sorry for wasting your time I feel like an idiot."
"You're not an idiot.It's not like I'm Hermione, I don't excel at everything."Harry replied making Serena chuckle.

"James, you haven't opened a door for me since our last date night could you move back downstairs?"
"But honey you have that tray let me help you!"
"Fine.But leave the kids alone they are studying!"

Serena continued her chuckle hearing Harry's parents.She couldn't remember if her parents were ever like this.And it pained her.
"Sorry."Harry said after hearing them as well.
"Oh no, they're very sweet."Serena said and with that James Potter banged the door open looking like he was expecting to see something else in the room and Lily sighing at her husband as she entered with a tray full of cupcakes with two cups.

"Harry, I brought you your coffee with milk and Serena, sweetheart I don't know what you drink in the morning so I got you some of Remus' tea."Lily said placing the tray on the table in Harry's room.
"Thanks, mum."Harry said looking curiously at his parents.
"Oh you didn't have to mrs.Potter."Serena awed at the sight of the cupcakes.But as she glanced at her tea she remembered, wasn't Professor Lupin married?Why was he spending nights at the Potter household?

"Okay, we'll leave you back to studying."Lily said more to James as he gave Harry a certain look that got the boy even more confused.
"Okay let's get back to business."Harry said grabbing a chocolate cupcake.

"Should we take a break?"Serena asked making Harry nod.
"I am amazed.You are really good at this."Serena said making Harry's face a shade of pink.
"I'm hardly like Remus.And I may be good at this but I am awful at Potions."
"No you're not, I am not saying your a master but you are handling it.It's just that Snape hates our guts because of our house.Well he hates your guts a bit more I've got to admit."Serena said making Harry snort.

"You're quite good at Potions, and it pisses Snape off."Harry said making Serena smile, to hide her blush she took a sip of the green tea.
"Remember the time you, Ron and Hermione were late?He almost smiled."Serena said making Harry sigh with a lazy smile at the memory.
"We were this close to take a serious beating from Hermione that day.Both me and Ron."Harry cracked a laugh that Serena joined.
"Speaking of them.What is going on between the two of them?They certainly got close last year."Serena asked, prying for a bit of gossip.

The two did always seem to stare at each other during classes and Serena somehow noticed it, or how they would argue but at some point the arguing became enjoyable.And she also noticed Harry being the biggest third wheel which was hilarious.

Harry met her gaze and held it as he said."They are just kind of scared of admitting it, even to themselves, I'm sure they just need time."
"Yeah, time."Serena purred still holding his stare.
Until Harry broke it and coughed awkwardly making Serena blush at the realization she just stared into his eyes for far too long.
"Should we crack on another lesson before I go?"Serena awkwardly said.
Harry nodded, muttering something Serena couldn't comprehend but she just opened the book to the next chapter.

After she walked on the front porch, Isabella was there chatting with another neighbor.The one that was matching with his dog.Isa finally cornered him.
"Serena, this is Patrick, Patrick my friend Serena."Isabella introduced the two and they shook hands.Serena's friend had taste.

Patrick had blonde curly hair that almost touched his shoulders and piercing small blue eyes, he didn't look their age perhaps a year or two older.
"It's nice to meet you.I'll leave you two I'm a bit tired."Serena said wanting to get into a hot bath.
"Oh, Serena.This letter came, it's from your dad."Isabella said reminding herself of it.
Serena froze, she could feel the cupcakes she devoured earlier mingling in her stomach.Just her father ?
"Oh,thanks."she said grabbing it from Isabella's hand.

"Do you want me to go inside with you?"Isabella asked and Serena reminded herself how lucky she was with a friend like her.
"No, thanks, I actually have to go back to the Potters."Serena said and didn't wait for a reply as she almost ran back to the house and pounded on the door like a maniac.

"Oy, mate what's your -"Sirius barked as he opened the door but when his eyes met Serena's frantic ones all she did was to hand him the letter and speak.
"I need you."
