The Dreamer

I woke up to see my Mom and Dad towering over me. I yelped in surprise. "Sweetie, we have to go to HQ today." Mom says and I nod. I grab my blue jeans, my black converse, and my blue t-shirt. "You ready kiddo?" Dad questions. I grab my dream journal and my pen and I walk downstairs. "Come on." Mom says and we get in the car and we drive to HQ, once we made it there Mom and Dad turned to look at me. "Be safe and dream a little won't ya?" Dad questions and I nod with a smile. Mom hugs me and I hug back them we do a group hug. "Stay safe Kris." Mom says and I nod. "Ah welcome back Dreamer." Ms. Granada says and I smile. "Hi Ms. Granada." I say. "Come with me." She says and we walk leaving my parents behind, but not without one last wave and smile. "You will be working on your classwork, and you know the rules Dreamer." She says and I nod as she opens the safe. I walk in and I see Guppy who waves at me and I wave and smile back. 

"Children. Great work and remember the rules." Ms. Granada says and they all nod but I knew better. I sat down in my seat which was next to Guppy and we did a fist bump as Ms. Granada left. Noodles then stretched his neck and pressed his ear against the wall. "She's gone." He whisper shouts to us and we celebrate. I smile and I open my black notebook and I look through. I had my Dad's gift, since he was too old to help planet Drool, I would help them...But in my sleep of course. I look in my notebook at requests some people made and I started writing and drawing in my notebook and I smile down at it. "What are you drawing?" Guppy questions. I show her my notebook and she smiles at it. "Is that Mom and Dad, and your Dad too?" Guppy questions and I nod. I had a vision last night of my Dad when he was little along with Shark Boy and Lava Girl when they were my Dad's age too. I continued drawing and coloring in my notebook until it was taken from a stretched out hand. "Hey! Noodles!" I say. Noodles laughs and he closes it. "Come on Dreamer, have some fun." Noodles says and I sigh. "Fine." I say and I go to the snack bar and I grab a packet of Gummy bears. I then notice Guppy grimace at her water bottle. "It got warm?" I question and she nods while sliding her bottle over. I hold it up and I place my pointer finger under it and I focused, and eventually the water was cold, not frozen but cold.

"Thanks Dreamer." She says and she drinks her water. After goofing off Noodle's eyes widen. "She's coming!" He whisper shouts and we grab papers and sit back in our seats and Noodles hands me back my journal, I open the tablet and I start 'working' as Ms. Granada walks in with another girl dressed in black. "Everyone...this is Missy. She will be joining you today." Ms. Granada says and we all turn to the entrance. "Missy, I'd appreciate it if you would take a seat right there and quietly continue your studies along with the other children." Ms. Granada says and Missy goes and sits next to Fast Forward. "Children...Thank you all for respecting my rules. Your parents will be very proud when I tell them of your exceptional behavior. Well done." Ms. Granada says and she leaves the safe. After a few seconds Noodles stretches and checks. "She's gone!" He whisper shouts and we all cheer. Rewind and Fast Forward run around, Wildcard throws papers around, and A Capella uses her voice to make herself float. Guppy then uses her powers and makes a paper airplane out of water and flies it next to Missy, she the turns to Guppy and I then I freeze the airplane which falls and crashes...then breaks. "Dang it." I mutter and I walk over and I pick up the pieces. I wave at Wildcard as I notice him looking at me and he waves back.

I walk back to my seat as Wheels goes up to Missy. "Hey, I'm Wheels. Yes, they call me that on account of the wheelchair. It's a little on the nose, but I like it because it's cool." Wheels says. "Okay." Missy says. "You may think I'm in the wheelchair 'cause my legs are weak, but it's the opposite. My muscles are so strong my bones can't support 'em. But lucky for me, my brain's the same way, it's supercharged. So I'm good." Wheels says and I see Noodles extend his head towards Missy and Wheels. "So, Wheels, who's your new friend?" Noodles questions. "Missy, this is Noodles. We call him that because, well..." Wheels stops and Missy speaks up. "He stretches and twists around like a noodle?" Missy questions. "Yeah, basically." Noodles says. "And that's Ojo." Wheels says and I see Ojo move from the desk to my right to the one on my left.
