As the TV turned on the News man and woman were there. "You know this is an epic Heroic smackdown event when they've called in Shark boy!" The News woman says and we all cheer. "Yeah!" Guppy exclaims. We watch as Shark Boy with a shark emerge from the ocean and Shark Boy flips onto the dock. "Earlier today, Shark boy appeared from the ocean depths, landing on the beach of South Padre Island." The news man says. "And moments later, Lava Girl blasted up from inside an active volcano. She's from the Earth's core you know." The News woman says. "Go Shark boy and Lava girl!" Guppy exclaims. "After that the Dreamer and the Ice Queen breezed through and joined Shark boy and Lava girl." The news man says. "Go Mom and Dad!" I cheer. "And here's Mayor Doolittle at today's ribbon cutting for his new city hall, rebuilt after the last time the Heroics went into action." The News man says and I see Blinding Fast Run by and cut the ribbon. "Did you see that? Of course you didn't. That means it's none other than Blinding Fast, the fastest Heroic on the planet!" The News Woman says. "Go Dad!" Slo-Mo says and I smile. "and here comes Crushing Low!" The News woman says and Crushing Low destroys the building and I snicker. 

"And there goes the Mayor's new building in record time." The news man says and we all clap and cheer. "These battles are insanely expensive for taxpayers, but so entertaining." The news woman says. "Pass the popcorn! This battles going to be epic!" Wildcard says and Slo-Mo passes the popcorn to Wildcard slowly but Wildcard grabs it spilling some popcorn in the process. "This is unprecedented. All of the Heroics have been called into action against the alien threat." The news woman says. "We're getting some live footage now." The News man says and they switch to a woman standing on the building. "And look who's back in action. It's Miracle Guy. You didn't expect him to actually loose? Did you?" The News woman says. We watch as all of our parents are flying into action. "He's not supposed to be there." Missy says as she catches sight of her Dad. We watch as Miracle Guy flies towards the ship but it opens revealing several tiny ships. One of them knocking into Miracle Guy causing him to hit a building causing the building to shift and Miracle guy crash land on a roof. "Oh my god!" The News Woman exclaims. "No way! No one's ever taken down Miracle guy!" Noodles says. "Evasive Maneuvers." Lava girl exclaims as she uses her Magma as Mom uses her ice next to her. We watch as Noodles' Mom turns invisible avoiding the ships, then we see Shark boy crash into a helicopter causing it to crash into a building. "You okay Shark boy?" The pilot says but Shark boy was taken by a ship. I hear Guppy gasp, then we watch as Miracle Guy's arms were restrained, Miracle Guy tried flying upwards but he then crashed onto the roof. "Oh no. I'm just getting some terrible news. It's almost unimaginable but two of our heroes have been captured by the intruders." The News Woman says. "I thought the Heroics were unbeatable." Guppy says. "They are unbeatable. It's no over yet." Wheels says and I nod while turning back to the screen. "It looks like our heroes are fighting amongst themselves again." The Newswoman says and I watch as Rewind and Fast Forward's parents were on a roof and they kicked down the door.

"Ladies first." Their Dad said. "I don't need your dated chivalry." Their Mom said with sass. "Fine, I'll go." Their Dad said. "How dare you!" Their mom exclaimed and before they could get through the door, they were both taken. "Mom!" Rewind exclaimed as Fast Forward exclaimed. "Dad!" Rewind then turned to Fast Forward then back at the screen. We ten watch as Crushing Low flies in the sky side by side with Dad. "Go, Dad!" Face-maker and I exclaimed. Crushing Low was going really well, until one captured him from behind, and took him. Suddenly the News starts winding back while Fast Forward winds forward. "I want to see it again." Rewind states. "And I don't want to see it again." Fast Forward says. "And here comes Mrs. Vox to the rescue. She'll get those aliens singing a different tune." The Newswoman says and we watch as Mrs. Vox vocalizes and destroys some of the alien ships. "They took Mrs. Vox!" The Newswoman says and they shift to Mom and Lava Girl on their magma and ice. Lava Girl start firing magma at the aliens hitting Tech-No in the process. "They got Tech-No." The news man says and I hear Wildcard gasp from next to me. Suddenly Mom and Lava Girl were taken and I gasped. "There goes Ice Queen and Lava Girl." The News woman says. Guppy and I gasp. "Come on Dad." I mutter to myself.

"What in the world is happening? Our heroes are dropping like flies." The Newswoman says and I see Guppy place her head on her arms. We then watch as Blinding Fast runs around a ship in the air. "They won't get Blinding Fast. Not him, he's too-"Wheels stops as Blinding Fast was taken. We watch as Slo-Mo lets out a tear and it slowly its the floor. "It's all up to Marcus Moreno, and The Dreamer now!" The News man says and I see Mr. Moreno and Dad still on their drones, but an alien cuts off the wires and they both fall, I cover my eyes. Hey I know he's apart of the Heroics but he's still my Dad. I watch as they turn to run but they are surrounded by ships. Mr. Moreno grabs his watch as Dad grabs his journal. You see, Dad and I had special notebooks, whatever we wrote would be transferred onto the other notebook, but you can erase it and it won't erase on the other notebook. 

Words started forming on a blank page. 

Hey sweetie, I may not make it out of this, and if I don't just know I am so proud of you and all you have accomplished in life. Your mother and I are so proud of you. 

I started to cry a bit.

No Dad don't say that you can make it out of this I know it! You're the Dreamer and a Heroic!

That was the last thing Dad wrote before he and Marcus Moreno sprang into action and got caught. "This is...unbelievable. Unimaginable." The Newswoman says. "Ladies and Gentlemen, the Heroics have fallen." The Newsman says and I look down at the words and I let a few tears slip. "We're getting word that the President would like to address the Nation." The Newswoman says and the camera shifts to the President. "People of America, as you have witnessed, the Heroics have been captured. Military forces are stepping in, mobilizing to bring our heroes back. But while it looks rather hopeless, it's bad it's- It's hopelessly bad." The President says and I roll my eyes. "How did this guy ever get to be President? He can't even put two sentences together." Face-maker says. "We have, just received a message from the supreme commander of the aliens, that has been decoded. It reads. "We are from the planet Ogima. Unfortunately, we have no choice but to prepare you for takeover. Please comply, or else Earth will be destroyed. You have 3 hours." I'm afraid that was the entire message. There are no heroes left. God save us all." The President says and the TV shuts off, then turns back on revealing Ms. Granada. "Children." She starts and we all jump. "For your own safety, we're going into full lockdown. No one leave your seats. As long as you stay where you are, you are all safe." Ms. Granada says and the TV lifts back into it's place. 

"Yeah, right. They can't protect us from that. We just saw it." Noodles says. "You got a better idea?" Wildcard questions. "We should probably do what Ms. Granada says." Guppy says. "Uh, pardon me but-" Missy start but is cut off by Face-maker. "The last look on my Dad's face will haunt me forever." Face-maker says while making a face. "What do they want from us?" A Capella questions. "Do you think our parents are okay?" I question. "Uh excuse me." Missy says. "What?" Wildcard questions. "We need to leave this room right now." Missy says. "Why?" Guppy questions. "Because the aliens know where we are, and they're coming for us next." Missy says. Wildcard scoff from next to me. "How could you possibly know that?" Wildcard questions. Missy then goes over to Ojo's table. What's she gonna do?
