So this is a peice of writing I recently did in English and I quite like it so I decided to share it.

The afternoon was ending. The world spun as normal, Shrewsbury moving with it. On a bench in the Quarry, an old man sat eating his late lunch consisting of a Ham, Lettuce and Tomato sandwich. In Waitrose, a shop assistant slowly scans items through the till, with a tired look on her face. A crisp packet floated amongst the leaves. Outside Cineworld, a blonde teenager stood waiting for her boyfriend to arrive. In a classroom at Shrewsbury Sixth-Form, a young boy packed his books away, eager to leave. A young blonde teenager sat with her legs over the edge of the English Bridge, tears streaming down her face with her hair fluttering in the wind, ready to jump. Mums and Dads waited outside all the schools for their children to be let out. A waitress in Pizza Express sighed as she started her shift. Tv screens glowed everywhere. People all over signed into their social media accounts, waiting to see the lasted gossip. People texted, tweeted, emailed and skyped.
