"I'm not weird!" I laughed. "but hi, I'm Alex!" 

"Dork." he laughed.

"Yeah but you love me." I said, hugging him.

"I do." he hugged me back

"Promise?" I asked, looking up into his beautiful hazel eyes.

"I promise to love you forever." He said, kissing my forehead. "Now let's play stick fight!"

I was sitting on his bed listening to music when I heard a knock on the door.

"Aly?" Amie's soft voice said. "Ethan and I are gonna go to the store, do you need anything?" Elijah, I want Elijah.

"No, I'm good. Thanks." I answered, a tear slipping from my eye.

"You're gonna catch me, right." I asked. We had found a semi-broken tree house in my backyard and went up to look but on the way down the ladder broke so I was stuck inside.

"I got you, it's okay." He replied, holding his hands out. I took a deep breathe as Elijah started to count down. "3...2...1!" I jumped down from the treehouse but instead of meeting the ground Elijah had me in his arms. He gently set me down.

"Told you I'd catch you." he smirked.

"Haha." I said, smiling. "Now give me a kiss or I'm leaving." He laughed but pulled me into him, planting a ki-

"Cortese!" my teacher yelled. "Sleeping in class again, are we?"

"Sorry Ms. Durham." I said, looking down at my desk and trying to ignore the snickers that were coming from the class.
