This is kinda like a part two of the last chapter but at the same time, it's not. Ngl, I cried a bit writing this cause let's be honest, who would want to write about Corey being depressed? Anyways, ENJOY!!!(I'm obsessed with Supernatural so I just made it like a spirit from the show)

"Babe, grab my wallet please," Adison said, placing the last items on the conveyer belt(?).

"No, I'll pay," I said. We were currently at the grocery store, getting ready to pay.

"You did it last time," she whined, once again being stubborn. "I'll let you do it next time."

I reluctantly started to reach for the wallet when I felt something cold against my head.

"Money. Now," a low, cold voice said. "If you call anyone, I will shoot."(pew pew)

"Corey, give it to him," Adi whispered. "Please."

"Smart girl," the hooded man said, he turned his head to the cashier. "Where's my money?" The terrified cashier scrambled to open the register and hand the money over. I gave the man the wallet without looking, in fear that if I moved my head he would shoot. The man pulled the gun away.

"Again, call someone and you're de-" he was cut off by sirens. Without a second thought he raised the gun again and shot the first person he saw. I heard a thud and turned around to find Adison with a hole in the middle of her head. I face the hooded man and tackled him to the ground. Pure anger filled my eyes as I swung left and right at his head, beating him into unconsciousness.

It took multiple officers to pry me off  him but when they did, I broke. The love off my life is dead. The highlight of my day was gone. My reason to wake up everyday was lying there, lifeless. I clung onto her body and sobbed. It's not true, please god tell me it's not true. Tell me it's just a nightmare.

With that, I jolted up in bed, my body covered in a cold sweat and my face damp from tears. I checked the clock on the night stand 3: 32am it read. I looked at the empty space on the bed. Quickly wiping my tears, I stood up to go get a glass of water. I heard a rustling noise downstairs, grabbing a bat I crept down the stairs to the source of the noise, of course it came from the room I wanted to go to.

As I turned the corner I saw a semi-transparent girl with light brown hair, a black hoodie and leggings was doing dishes.

"Who are you?" I called out. I froze when it turned around. Piercing blue eyes met my gaze.

"Corey?" it asked. No, it can't be, she died. "Baby, it's me."

"Adi?" The figure moved towards me.

"Yes, it's me. I'm here."

"B-but you died."

"I know, but I can't leave," she said softly.

"Why not?" I asked. She kept her mouth closed for a minute.

"You won't let me," she whispered, placing her semi-transparent hand on my shoulder. I could feel it, as though she was still alive. "Cor, you need to let me go."

"I-I can't," I said, my voice cracking.

"I know it's hard, but you have to."

"I won't find anyone like you though," I whispered, tears pricking my eyes.

"You won't if you don't let go," she said. "Corey, please."

"I love you," I said, finally giving in.

"I love you too." She pressed her ghost lips to mine. I closed my eyes, enjoying the feeling one last time. When I opened them again there was nothing.

"Goodbye," I whispered. I felt a rush of wind cross me. Adison.

'Goodbye'
