Tony and Peter were in the lab working on an IronSuit, they took a break to eat after working most of the afternoon, they ordered and got their pizza, a few avengers came in and got some but there not important right now.
Peter had some sauce on his face and weirdly Tony licked his finger and wiped it off his face, "um, what are you doing?" Peter said confused as to what was happening, Tony suddenly stop and started shaking in a cold sweat, "Oh. My. God. I've become my mother..." Tony said in a surprised and shocked state. "I-I have been avoiding becoming my terrible father I didn't see it coming", Tony got up to go get some vodka, not believing any of the information from today.
Peter was just confused 'what's so wrong about becoming your mom?' he thought, wondering if he was like one of his parents, as, he doesn't remember them well.
Peter went home, with this on his mind, asking himself if he should even be spending the amount of time that he is on this topic.
The next day when Tony was sober enough to touch at least the lab door, Peter came in with a not-so-ok mental state, he was a little upset that he couldn't figure this out. Apparently when he asked May, both his parents were nothing like him. They were two Stuck up brats, Business from birth, just overall nothing like Peter.
So of course when Tony saw something was up with Peter and asked him about it, he changed the topic. He got the hint, being in the same spot before and just continued with what they were doing originally. Throughout the day Peter was noticing the little things that Tony did just like him.
From the way they walked to the way they fought. Peter was noticing the similarities everywhere. Then he started to face the facts, he saw Tony as a dad and he was 99% sure Tony saw him as a son, there must be a reason for that.
So overall Peter was ok with not knowing, rather, he choose to believe that it didn't matter, he knew he was him and that he wouldn't be anyone else.
