Llewellyn was limping down a street in Duckburg when a Police officer stopped by him. She stepped out and pulled an umbrella and held it above Llewellyn and asked, "What are you doing out here at a time like this?". Llewellyn said scared and trembling, "Run… running a… away h… he was… beating me...". The officer replied worriedly "Running away from who?". Llewellyn fell on her unconscious.

A Few Hours Later

Llewellyn woke up in a white room hooked up to a machine, he was freaking out when the voice of a Nurse calmed him down,

"It's okay, you're in a hospital."

That reassurance calmed him down.

"The officer is gonna ask you a few questions about what happened, okay?" The nurse said.

"Yeah, s-sure." Llewellyn replied. The Officer entered the room and said.

"Hello little boy, I've come to ask you some questions, okay?". Llewellyn replied "o-okay.". Her first question was

"Is there anything I could call you?" She asked

"My n-name i-is Llewellyn.". He replied

"Hello Llewellyn, I'm Officer Cabrera. Where were you going the other day?"

"I was trying to g-get away from my foster-family, the s-Smiths." he said.

"Why were you running away from them?" Llewellyn replied

"Th-they were the rea-reason I have these scars, they were hitting me and c-calling me slurs."

Llewellyn said while crying.

"I'm so sorry you went through that here, hold onto this." she handed Llewellyn a little doll.

"Wh-what's this?" Llewellyn asked while wiping away his tears with his scarred arm

"It's a doll I used to have when I was a kid, and I used to hold onto it when i was scared." she replied.

"Th-thank you." He was squeezing it hard trying not to cry.

"Do you have anywhere else to go other than the Smiths?" Officer Cabrera asked

"N-no I don't k..know my real f-f…" he had a hard time saying family.

"Family? If you have nowhere else to go I can hold onto you for when you get a new one and arrest the monsters that hurt you." She said reassuringly

Llewellyn with tears in his eyes "R-really Officer Cabrera y-you'll have me until I get an actual f-f…"

"Of course Llewellyn, you'll need someone to take care of you." she said happily.

Llewellyn hugged Officer Cabrera tightly while crying with his head on her shoulder.

A Few Hours Later

Ms. Cabrera brought Llewellyn to her house.

"Pollito, I'm home and I brought a guest!" She yelled through the house, she turned and saw Llewellyn hiding behind the entrance.

Llewellyn feeling concerned asking

"A-are you sure… I… don't want to be a nuisance and… what if the people who live here are mean?" Ms. Cabrera reassured him "No Llewellyn you're fine to live here and my son is nice and won't hurt you… and if he does I swear he won't get away with it."

"Do you only live with your son?" he asked, "Yes I do, FENTON GET OUT HERE!", her yelling scared Llewellyn

"I'm sorry for scaring you Llewellyn." Ms. Cabrera said apologetically

Fenton came out to see his mom hugging a little boy wearing a green ripped shirt with bandages and scars.

"M'ma, who's this?" Fenton asked

Ms. Cabrera stood up and turned to her son

"This is Llewellyn, he'll be staying here until he finds a new family." she said

"Hello Llewellyn, I'm Fenton."

Fenton stuck his hand out for a handshake but Llewellyn hid behind Ms. Cabrera's leg.

"Don't worry Llewellyn, he just wants a hand shake." she said.

Llewellyn stuck his hand out and shook Fenton's hand. Llewellyn started to smile knowing he was in safe hands.
