Borrowed Shower

"Is this one good," I asked the lady. "Yes, thank you! Oh, I forgot to introduce myself last time. I'm Kim Leah." I smiled and told her my name.
As she was buying the book, I looked at her before speaking. "Um, is it okay if we come over? You see, my water in my house is not working and I think we could use some showers, if that's fine with you?" Leah looked at me with a smile, "sure thing! You can also bring your dirty clothes to wash them." My smile widened and I thanked Leah profoundly. Leah laughed before leaving her address and saying goodbye before going out into the rain.
"Why did you lie?" I jumped at the sudden voice beside me. I looked over to see Taehyung looking at me, questioningly. I quickly smiled, "I don't want her to feel sorry for us. Also, I just didn't want her to know." Tae nodded before asking to be petted. I laugh as I give in.

I made sure the boys had an extra pair of clothes and their dirty clothes before setting off towards Leah's house. The rain had stopped, leaving puddles with dead leaves in them. Dead leaves scattered about the concrete jungle and stuck to the bottom of our shoes. Finally making it to a nice, white house. I went to the door and rang the doorbell. I could hear shuffling of feet before a young voice was heard. "Eomma! I smell hybrids and a human!" The door opened to reveal a young looking girl.

I soon see Leah coming to the door, "Christina, I thought I told you not to open the door unless I say it's alright." Leah said to the girl, who's apparently Christina. Leah looked at us and smiled, "hi guys! Come in! I'll show you the bathrooms and the where the washing machine is." Leah steps aside with Christina in haul. We enter the house and I than Leah.
"It's really not a big deal! Come, I'll show you the bathrooms. We only have two, sorry." "Oh no! It's fine! My house only ha - has one," I was quick to realize I almost used past tense. After showing the bathrooms, I let the boys take their showers first.
"Still up for hanging out this weekend?" I turned to see Leah with a smile. "Yeah! But where are we going," I ask. Leah smiles, "to a small bar near here. I heard that it's a calm environment, no perverted guys." I'm skeptical about the last part, but I smile and nod my head nevertheless. "Sure! I'll have the boys babysit Christina." Leah laughs and I smile.
After the boys finished with their showers, I went to take mine. I let the warm water run down my skin as I lathered the soap in my hair. After the shower, I quickly changed into new clothes.

I went into the kitchen to see Jin and Christina making food. Christina's eyes seemed to sparkle with admiration towards Jin. I watched as he made sure she didn't cut herself and listened as his voice held love and care for the little girl. He would make such a good dad. I felt my eyes widen at the thought. I quickly turn and leave. Oblivious to the strange look Jin was giving me as I retreated from the kitchen.
I quickly go to the living room and sit beside Namjoon said Yoongi. I feel their eyes on me and I give them a look that says what? "Your hair isn't brushed," Leah deadpanned. Me cheeks felt hot as I tried to run my fingers through my hair. But someone grabbing my wrists stopped me. I looked to see Jimin smiling at me, "don't. It looks cute." Me skin burned with embarrassment. I look over to see Leah with THAT look. I give her a scowl only for her to laugh.

I sit at the table as Jin and Christina place the food in front of us. I praise their work, so do the others, and Leah. After we eat, we say our goodbyes and thank them. Christina clung to Jin and begged him to stay. I laughed before crouching the the girl's level. "If you let him go, he'll come back this weekend to hang out with you. Okay?" The girl smiled while nodding and let go of Jin. We waved goodbye and made our way to the bookstore.
