Chapter9: I'll Take You Out Back!

In class all I can think about is Jason and his dumb Jiwa-Mate. Maybe that's why he wouldn't tell me what it was, because he has one. I barely notice the person standing by my desk until Rose clears her throat.

I look up to see a guy with short black hair, light blue eyes, 6 feet tall, a masculine build.

"What?" I snap at him and Daisy cracks up laughing in her seat while Rose's eyes widen in shock.

"Um, I-I'm sorry," He says awkwardly backing away "I didn't mean to bother you."

Rose looks at me annoyed while Daisy looks amused as usual "No, I'm sorry," I say "I'm not having a good day, what did you want?" I ask lightly and he takes a step closer to my desk.

"Well, I wanted to ask if you're interesting in going on a date with me?" He looks shy.

I look at him in shock, why is he so nervous, isn't he suppose to be a jock. "She would love to," Rose says to him.

"Okay," he says smiling a little "What's your number, so I can text you with the details."

"Um," I try to get my brain to start working back right so I can actually answer him.

Daisy shakes her head grabbing his arm and writing my number down on it "Now, go away," She says shooing him away with her hand, with a look on her face as if he smells.

"Are you okay?" Rose asks "You were pretty mean to him."

"Oh, um yea, he just interrupted my thoughts," I say.

"About Jason," Daisy adds on and I glare at her as she laughs "I'm starting to love this class." She says.

When we go to lunch I sit with Zach at a table with a bunch of jocks as I look around for people who could possibly be Jason's Jiwa-Mate. Daisy told me that she goes here but wouldn't give me anymore details, I think she thought that would be funny.

I notice a girl with long blonde hair basically sitting in Jason's lap at his table, I feel a twinge of something deep in my core. Across the table from Jason is Landon with a brunette sitting in his lap, she whispers something in his ear and he chuckles softly but I'm sure all the vampires can hear him. I look across the room at Daisy who's trying to ignore them, but she just looks pissed off as Daniel talks to her.

"Ready to go?" Zach asks me looking at his watch.

"Yea," I say standing up and following him to the gym where Rose and Austin already are. They're laughing about something but stop when we walk up.

"I must warn you ," Austin says "Daisy is going to be really pissed off so don't get in her way when we play dodge ball, I'm pretty sure she's going to try to take Landon's head off."

Daisy walks into the gym storming into the locker room past us, not bothering to say anything.

"I will definitely not bother her," I say as Rose and I head into the locker room to change into our uniforms. Once we come out I instantly become excited when I see the dodge-balls are out. Daisy storms back out of the locker room still in her regular clothes and sits in the bleachers with her arms crossed.

"Captains!" Coach Rayes calls out and Landon starts walking over to him. Daisy and Landon are officiallly captains all the time. Today though Daisy simply sits in the bleachers glaring at Landon. "Daisy?" Coach calls out holding his hands out in confusion.
