I find it sad that people only speak praise and admiration about someone once they hear of there passing. I find it truly heartbreaking that people die not knowing what impact they had on peoples lives.
It angers me to think that they have gone through their life not knowing how loved or how appreciated they are and how much they are missed. Its situations like this that make me wonder why we take one another for granted, why we think that its fine to not tell people how much they mean to us or how much we love them. The problem with this is that it then leads on to a feeling of guilt and we ask ourselves why didn't let them know that we loved them or that they meant the world to us, why we didn't just tell them when they were alive.
And the answer to this question is a simple cliche that a friend reminded me of 'You don't realise what you have until its gone' Which is 100% true, people seem to think that the relationships they have formed will last forever, and the simple fact of the matter is that nothing lasts forever no matter how much we want it to.
