CAT^

I picked at the chicken on my plate, watching everyone else (mainly the boys) wolf down the food.

"Why aren't you eating?" Atlas asked. I gulped.

"Um..."

"Yes?"

"In the words of Hazel Grace, 'I want to minimize the number of deaths I am responsible for',"

"So...?"

"So, I'm half vegetarian. I don't eat chicken or pigs,"

(A/N: That explains the pizza problem)

"But you eat cows?"

"Mary Temple Grandin found a way to treat cows better. Plus I love hamburgers,"

"Cool, I guess,"

"Yeah, well, I'm going to go get some sushi,"

"Hey, wait. Before you go, I just realized we didn't get your phone number,"

"There is a reason for everything," I said, wisdicaly.

(A/n: Cool fact: I actually invented the word wisdicaly. It basically means wisely. Look it up, you won't find the word. I hereby permit you to use it whenever you want, just give credit if someone asks. 😂😂)

"Who'll drive you?" Atlas asked.

I shrugged. "I don't care. I just need sushi,"

Eventually, Finn was appointed my chauffeur.

"Where are we going?" He asked. I just stayed silent.

"I know you talk," He joked. I stayed silent.

"C'mon, Angel, talk to me," I laughed.

"Fine,"

"So..." He asked.

"Yes? You were the one who wanted to talk," I waged my eyebrows. He fake sighed.

"Stop here," I told him and got out. I walked around, but I could tell he was following me.

After getting crappy sushi at some drive-through, I hobbled home, with my crutches, eating on the way.

Finn pulled up next to me.

"Couldn't you just get a burger?" He asked.

"Nope. I was feeling sushi," I smirked.

"Fine, just get in,"

"Ever read The Fault in Our Stars?" I asked.

"I've watched the movie, but haven't read the book,"

"Let me out, then, please," I asked.

"What? It's like three miles to your house,"

"Actually, my house is in California," I informed him.

"You know what I mean,"

"Fine, I'll stay. But you HAVE to read The Fault in Our Stars, or I will never talk to you again," I said, as seriously as I could.

"Fine," He agreed.

"Fine,"

"Fine,"

Maybe 'fine' will be your 'always' or  'okay'

What the hell? no.

you never know.

I pushed the voice away.
