Lara's point of view-

As the big mongrels dragged me to the ominous prison, I couldn't keep my heart rate down. Shit, I'd gotten my self into a heap of trouble.

"So, big guy, any chance of me eventually leaving. You know, intact?"

The one to my right chuckled but quickly stifled it. I still had gotten no answer. I looked over to him. He had blonde curly hair that framed his face like a halo and eyes that resembled glinting glass. The man on my left had dark hair pulled back by a tie and olive toned skin. There was one thing they had in common. They were monstrous. Tall with bulging muscles.

In fact I hadn't seen one male that could pass as Omega yet in this pack. They were all built like warriors. It was strange.

We began approaching a dismal cement building. I let out a breathe. This didn't look so bad, I thought, until we got closer. The stench radiating off the building was horrid. I gagged. What was in there? Blood. I definitely smelled blood. This pack prison was already the worst I've ever seen, and I hadn't even gotten in yet.

The dark haired man noticed my gagging, "You'll get used to it after a while." He simply stated.

That meant I would have to be here for a long time. I couldn't ever imagine getting used to that smell. It was the smell of everyone's worst nightmares, and a harbinger of the hell I was to expect.

I set my resolve as we rounded a corner and stood in front of a steel door. I heard keys rattle before the door swooped open and I took one last glance at the woods around me. The woods were more than just that to me now. They were a freedom that I was now being deprived from.

I was pulled roughly through the door. I was almost afraid to look at my surroundings. I was staring down a long gray hallway. Skylights barely illuminated the place and there were at least 10 steel doors along each side of the corridor leading all the way up to one at the very end. And it looked like that was where we were heading.

Through the bars that each door had in replace of a window I could hear the moans of pain and the sobs of prisoners. I glanced to my left afraid of what I was going to see. I almost lost my lunch.

Inside the the tiny cell was a women that could've been only a few years older than me. She was chained to the wall by what I was guessing were silver cuffs indicated by the burned flesh around her wrists, ankles, and neck. They had put a silver collar on her.  Her face was practically unrecognizable through all the cuts and bruises from beatings. Her stomach was ripped open, giving me a glimpse of her organs. God, she was barely alive.

I had to look away. Turmoil burned throughout me. I was afraid. God, I was afraid. And frustrated. If I was just more careful, I could have avoided all of this.

My body was covered in nervous sweat and I dreaded reaching the end of the hallway. To see what lied ahead for me.

We finally reached the end and one of the men opened the door. I wasn't able to tell which one because It had already felt like my world was spinning.

I had been in scary and painful situations before but this was different. I had no idea what was in store for me, all I could do was anticipate the worst.

They chained me to the wall like the woman we had passed but thank god silver didn't effect me the same way. I tested the restraints. Yeah, I wasn't getting out any time soon.

"Sorry, little one, things aren't going to be going your way for awhile now." I looked up in time to see the dark haired man with a sympathetic look grab my arm in a tight grip. He pushed a syringe into the soft skin of my arm.

"I can tell you guys feel bad for me, so why do it?" Whatever they had pushed into my system hadn't taken effect yet but I wasn't holding my breathe.

"Sometimes the innocent have to be sacrificed for the greater good. In this case the greater good being our pack. We don't know who you are but we have powerful enemies. Enemies that would send someone like you to get what they wanted and you didn't make a great impression on our third." The blond man came around to stand next to the dark haired man and I noticed how they entwined their fingers. I looked up at their necks. Matching marks. They were mates.

All of the sudden I felt this aching in my legs. It turned into the worst pain I've ever felt. It was a hallowed pain, it had all of my muscles clenching and my vision turned hazy. Sweet baby Jesus, what was this stuff? The pain traveled up my spin, I could feel my body seizing and my stomach turned.

I thought I was prepared for any sort torture they would throw at me but this, this was worse than hell. Whatever was in that syringe had my body turning against itself. Pain was all I knew.

It was then that Hunter decided to show himself.

"Marcus, Alec you may leave now." I tried to raise my head but physically couldn't as I fought with every cell I had against the foreign invader inside me.

I heard the door shut but just barely over my labored breathing.

"If you answer my questions I will inject you with a serum that will relieve the pain. Do you understand?" I don't know how I did it but I raised my head enough to see Hunter through my sweat drenched hair that had fallen forward. He was standing at least three feet away from me, arms crossed and feet spread apart. He had another syringe balanced loosely in his right hand.

"I will answer whatever questions I can." I barely squeeze out between my clenched teeth. My wolf was whining inside of me but I knew she would lend me the strength to withhold answers if necessary.

Hunter chuckled darkly, " We'll see. What's your name?"

"Lara." I hiss.

"Lara. No last name, Lara?"

"None that I can speak of."

"Interesting. Any pack you can speak of?"

"None at the moment, no." I gasp out, my body was caving, not able to support itself anymore. Because of this my airway was closing as the collar they had put on me began to take my weight.

"So you're Rogue?"

"I suppose?" I clench my eyes shut.

"How long?"

"Give or take a week or so. Now would be a great time for that serum." My voice was barely above a whisper but I knew he heard me.

"But you've barely answered my questions. Okay, Lara, one more question and if you answer to my liking I'll give you the serum," his light joking tone turns serious, " what were you doing on Argint land?"

"Was...chased..." I barely get out before my legs completely collapse. Hunter rushes forward and catches me. He injects the serum in and after a few seconds my body is relieved of the pain. I'm still sore and exhausted from being ravished by toxins but at least it's over now. He leaves me for a second but soon comes back with leather gloves as he takes the collar off. God, breathing does wonders for the body.

I hear a knock on my cell door and figure its Hunter signaling he wants out. I'm just too tired to lift my head.

One of the men from earlier begins to talk to Hunter. "So what are we going to do with her until the Alpha gets back?"

"We'll treat her like a regular prisoner until he returns. Alpha Dastien should be back soon enough."

That was all I heard until I blacked out.
