Jongin's point of view
During lunch break today, Sehun told me he wanted to take me out to a nice restaurant tonight.
After bickering about it for a while Sehun finally agreed to take me to a korean barbeque restaurant, who doesn't love K-bbq right?
The rest of the day I couldn't wait for it to be dinner time already.
Since we were in our graduation year the work we had to do for school had become pretty hectic, because of this the time we had for dates became almost non existent.
The last time Sehun and I went on a date must have already been more than a month ago.
Eventually dinner time rolled around as Sehun and I stepped into the restaurant, taking a seat in the back where it was more secluded and quiet.
As soon as the food was done I started happily munching on the different dishes we ordered, meanwhile I noticed Sehun was deep in thought staring blankly ahead of him.
'Sehun what are you thinking about?' I asked him with a mouth full of chicken.
Sehun snapped out of his thoughts and turned to look at me before he spoke up.
'what? oh euhm I was just thinking about Chanyeol and Baekhyun'
'What about them, is something wrong?' I questioned Sehun.
'Well it's just that.. don't you think they are basically acting like a mated couple? Take today for example, I saw how Chanyeol's instincts kicked in.
he was dead set on protecting Baekhyun no matter what, alpha's don't just do that for every omega they see in danger.'
'What exactly is your point Sehun? The school made them buddies through the system, isn't it only right that Chanyeol would protect Baekhyun?' I asked, getting confused.
'My point is that if it hadn't been Baekhyun, Chanyeol would have never attacked the other alpha. even if another omega was his buddy, he would have just solved the conflict without immediately attacking the alpha.' Sehun stated.
Sehun's statement made me think back to the incident today, I guess Sehun was right.
I had never seen Chanyeol this worked up about anything, except for that one time long ago.
'Yeahh I guess you're right, but I don't think it is necessarily a bad thing.
Baekhyun and Chanyeol are cute together and to be quite frank, I think they both need each other more than they even realise themselves.' I responded eventually.
Sehun laughed as he looked at me 'I guess you're right about that, let's just wait and see how it goes.'
With that we dropped the topic and enjoyed our night out.
I did understand Sehun's worry though, I guess he just didn't want either of them to get hurt.
Let's just hope that it would all turn out alright.
After the dinner Sehun took me to get some ice cream before we went home.
At home I took a quick shower while Sehun disappeared into the kitchen to make us some tea.
When I was done showering and getting dressed in my comfy pajamas I walked back downstairs, cuddling up against Sehun on the couch as he put his arm around me and handed me my tea.
We just sat there silently for a while, enjoying each other's warmth and comfort before my eyes started to feel heavy and I slowly fell into a peaceful slumber.
Sehun's point of view
After we came back from our date Jongin went upstairs to take a quick shower, meanwhile I walked into the kitchen to get us both some tea.
Right when the tea was done I heard the shower turn of, I poured the tea in two cups and walked into the living room.
I had only just sat down on the couch for a little while when Jongin came downstairs.
Jongin sat down next to me cuddling against my side, I smiled down at my cute boyfriend wrapping my arm around him and pulling him closer as I handed him his tea.
For a while we just sat there cuddling in silence before I noticed Jongin started falling asleep.
I carefully took the cup out of his hand and put it on the table.
After turning down the volume of the tv I watched as Jongin's breathing eventually evened out, indicating he fell asleep.
For the next few minutes I watched him, he looked so young and small when he was asleep, It just made me want to hold him in my arms forever.
Eventually I carefully picked Jongin up and walked up the stairs to our bedroom.
As I tucked Jongin in and made sure he was asleep I walked over to my desk.
I grabbed my laptop and went online, I knew we were still young but I just couldn't wait any longer.
I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this beautiful boy, and so I was going to propose to him.
