AUTHOR'S NOTE: Well, bonjour everyone! I understand that it's been quite some time since I've posted anything and I wanted to complete one of my favourite stories of all time. Smut blurbs will be posted later and will be relatively short but I wanted to finally post the epilogue since it's been written since August 2020.

"Will you be done soon?" Louis rolls on the balls of his feet as the sun beams down on his warm skin and the breeze kisses his cheeks.
"I said I'll find you when I'm done." Harry is almost elbow deep in the garden, digging a hole for some fresh gladiola. His shoulder blades and back muscles showing, he was wearing a pair of red and white striped pants, and obviously no shirt. "Why don't you go sunbathe and read one of your..." Harry does a double-take when looking back, his words die on his tongue.
Louis, with a floppy sun hat on his head and frameless eyeglasses on his nose, follows Harry's heated gaze, and it's on his belly button. Specifically, the sparkling jewelry hanging from his navel.
"Is that..." Harry's voice is merely a weak sound in the back of his throat.
"Oh, I didn't tell you," Louis pushes out his hips to give the man a better look in his tight baby blue bathing suit bottoms. "It's a f-flower."
"Dio, baby," Harry murmurs lowly. Reaching out and gripping Louis' hip, bringing him closer. The gardening glove spreads dirt on the boy's skin.
It was an elegant flower and the colours of the petals were endless. Almost like a stained glass window, it reflected shades of rose, azure, and even coral from certain angles. The glimmering gem was the Aurora Borealis and it hung prettily from Louis' belly button.
"Did it hurt?"
"A wee bit, bled a lil' too." Louis squints. "Y-You like it?" He bites his lip as Harry's fingers dig into the meat of his leg.
"Like it?" Harry echoes, his mouth was watering. "I love it, sweet swan." He was a mess now, the heated temperature of Greece combined with Louis' piercing, Harry could barely breathe.
Eventually, Louis leaves. He settles on a tiny blanket in the shade. He paints, taking breaks to munch on the plate of fruit next to him. He mixes every colour, using plenty of white to achieve the soft tints he desired. He was at peace.
Harry, on the other hand, was not at peace. He could only think of tugging on that little gem with his teeth. Peppering messy wet kisses around Louis' tummy and feeling the boy squirm under his touch. Give him all the affection he missed during their months apart.
Seeing Louis after months was like every insecurity melted away.
"Your hair is lighter and longer."
Louis smiles small, running his fingers delicately through his long fringe, it was almost long enough to resemble a mullet. "I got highlights."
Highlights. The lighter shade added a heavy contrast between his tanned skin—Harry adored it. Just as much as he adored holding Louis in his arms. He felt smaller but his tummy was still pudgy and just as delicious. Harry bites his lip, "You look so good, baby."
"I was so lonely..." Louis pouts. "Cold, and alone without you. Needed you to keep me warm in London but you weren't there."
Harry's heart grows ten sizes and every inch is for Louis to call home. He hoped he knew that. "I'm sorry, Giallo. I missed you—loads actually, I couldn't do anything without thinking of you. I couldn't even watch the sunset without thinking of you." He combs his fingers through Louis' hair, the familiar feathery strands bringing a sense of belonging. "Did my baby miss me too?"
